WWE Intercontinental Championship
Rey Mysterio (c) vs Dolph Ziggler
This was an excellent opener and kept you at the edge of your seat. I'll admit their last match at Night Of Champions was not too great and I did not like Dolph Ziggler but he was excellent here as was mysterio. Ziggler gained way more credability as a threat and matched Rey's high flying style very well. This may not quite have been perfect but it was close. 4/5
Jack Swagger vs MVP
Now this contest was not bad at all, it just was not very memorable. Both Swagger and MVP seem to be having a culture clash rivalry which is all well and good but basically this was added last minute and all seemed a bit thrown together. There was some good wrestling and the right man won but still this could have been built-up much better because as I said before the match wasn't bad it was just forgettable. In fact it seemed that some didn't even know this match was on the card. 3/5
WWE Unified Tag Team Championships
Big Show & Chris Jericho vs Cryme Tyme
Now I was somewhat sceptical about Show and Jericho's teaming, after their ropey outing at Night of Champions. However I am pleased to say that this was a really good tag team match, with Cryme Tyme stepping up to the spotlight well and Jeri-Show both putting on a great performance. The pace was kept quick, the wrestling was solid and there was plenty of atmosphere present, one complaint though was the sudden ending which seemed a little anti-climatic. Still despite this this was an entertaining title match and kept the momentum going. 4/5
Kane vs The Great Khali
This wasn't bad but it was dissapointing, there should have been a stipulation or the match should have turned into a brawl (Like Undertaker vs Kane from Summerslam 2000). Alas after weeks of build up this was a singles match, where both guys clobbered each other with strikes and power moves. There were a few botched spots and the crowd were dead for this but thanks to a good ending this just about worked out. However if this rivalry is to survive there needs to be a stipulation added to their next contest. 3/5
D-Generation X vs The Legacy
WOW I was not expecting this, I imagined this would be a 5 minute short and o.k match. Instead we got a clinic of superb entertainment and competition in which both sides looked like main eventers and everyone was on top of their game. The match at times even made you rethink your predicted winners, even though DX did win it was not at the price of Legacies reputation. This was a perfect start to the rivalry between these teams but for this is also the start of Ted and Cody's rise to superstardom. An excellent war. 5/5
ECW Championship
Christian (c) vs William Regal
Believe it or not I was looking forward to this more than any other match on the card. As Cristian is a consistent performer and Regal is an excellent wrestler and dreadfully under-used. This match had star potential, pity then that it only amounted to a 10 second squash, in which Regal yet again looks like a jobber. Why does Regal never get the oppertunity to shine, the Roundtable attacked Christian afterwards, which didn't help my dissapointment. None-the-less I do like this new ruthless roundtable faction and hope it amounts to more than a missed oppertunity. Also at least Regal's colourful robe will be nice to show off the HD. Thank the Lord a full-length re-match did occur. 1/5
WWE Championship
Randy Orton (c) vs John Cena
First things first I liked the match, it may have started slow but picked up and engaged you more throughout, with both men putting on a good match, despite the fact they have faced off multiple times before. Now the ending did seem a bit complicated and might annoy some but I don't think it was a dreadful finish, far from it, as a matter of fact I give full marks to WWE for doing something different with this rivalry and coming up with a rather unexpected victor. 4/5
WWE World Heaviweight Championship TLC Match
Jeff Hardy (c) vs CM Punk
Although not as fast paced and 'extreme' as past TLC matches this match had good buildup and a few stand out moments. Both men took some bumps and the dangerous stand-out ladder dive was absolutely brilliant. Both men tried extremely hard and the title change was not predictable. This was definately worth seeing and was very entertaining not to mention the crowd pleasing aftermath, in which the deadman rose. 4/5
Summerslam was an excellent WWE PPV and did not have one bad match aside from one and delivered on all the main event matches. This is really one vto watch and should look fantastic in high definition.

Personally i thought Summerslam was WWE'S 2nd best PPV of the year but extreme rules was always going to be hard to top. The MVP/Swagger match was an entertaining contest that i thought deserved to be on the card. 3/5. Kane/Khali with the weeks and weeks of build up and with it being big guy vs big guy i was kinda hoping for a different match type no holds barred or something so when it was revealed to be a straight up singles match i thought the worst but it wasn't that bad. 3/5. The WWE Title situation is getting boring either Cena v Orton or HHH V Orton or a triple threat grew old 3 months ago but this match wasn't bad just a really horrible finish Kind of get the feeling they are running out of Ideas but still a good match in itself I good to hear a good crowd battle too they wasn't sure wether to cheer Cena or Orton 3.5/9 (would of been 4/5 but for the finish) Rey v Dolph was a hell of a match one of the best of the night was never sure which way it would go but was energetic and very entertaining. 5/5. The Tag team title match was a good match considering Big show was in it but I will be honest was a little annoyed with wwe's choice to replace edge but they do complement each other well and it too kept me glued to the TV. The event seemed to be built around the return of D-X and their parody at the beginning of the movie stopping scene from Gremlins 2 was funny. D-X's entrance was amazing was glad they brought them back with a big bang and the match with legacy was damn good was hoping it wouldn't be a spirit squad style squash match and it wasn't can see why WWE regard rhodes and Dibiase as future stars and obviously HBK and HHH brought it too. 5/5. The TLC match was a good match not the best TLC match and Jeffs swanton doing more damage to him than punk made him look a bit dumb or made punk look superhuman but both men made the match work really well but with it being only a few months after Jeffs Ladder match with Edge i didn't expect it to be all that but it was damn good 4.5/5. Then you got the return of the Taker and what a return it was. Hopefully silver vision includes Jeffs last match with WWE from smackdown as a bonus as well as Vinces birthday "party" from Raw with D-X the next night but with the features not confirmed I dont know but I can hope cant I. Overall i would give the paperview 4.5/5 the only reason it didn't get 5 is because i thought extreme rules was better.

Good PPV loved the DX Legacy match that was absolutely brilliant but then i thought the WWE championship match was a bit silly the way it kept restarting. But the World Championship Match was a different story a great TLC match with Jeff Hardys amazing swanton bomb off the ladder!!! But then when CM Punk was celebrating and the Undertaker hit the chokeslam and returned to the WWE that was brilliant!!!!! Altogether it was a great PPV except for the cena orton match. This is definitely one to buy!!!
