COMMENTAIRES CLIENTS (notations - commentaire)
For starters, this is a great DVD to add to your collection because it's the first PPV of 2010, and it's an amazing Royal Rumble. I gave this PPV a 5 star rating. Here's why:
(In no particular order)
ECW Championship Match
Christian vs. Ezekiel Jackson
This match was off the hook. I loved the rivalry (though it was short-lived) between Big Zeke and Captain Charisma. The match itself lasted about 10 minutes, maybe more.. the ending was quite abrupt but all in all it was a great technical match. I was impressed at how well Christian did against Ezekiiel Jackson.
World Heavyweight Championship
The Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio
Normally, I don't like watching Rey Mysterio in the World Heavyweight Championship matches, just because I don't think he fits the persona - but I was quite "put-in-my-place" so to speak when watching this match. Both Taker and Mysterio put on an amazing match. It didn't last as long as I would have liked, but all the same - a great match!
United States Championship
The Miz vs. MVP
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this match wasn't announced on the card - rather a last minute addition during the PPV itself. Baring that in mind, it was quite an enjoyable match whether your a Miz or MVP fan. Ended quite soon, shame really - it could have been longer, but all the same it was a great match.
Women's Championship
Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James
Meh, probably the least enjoyable match on the PPV - but Diva matches normally are (unless JBL's on the matchcard!) - There's not alot I can really say about this match, I didn't really pay full attention to the match itself, so you'd have to see for yourself if you like Diva matches. (sorry!)
WWE Championship
Sheamus vs. Randy Orton
This was a great match, at the time I wasn't really bothered who won because I liked both Sheamus and Randy, but I would have liked Sheamus' streak to go on a little longer. Anywho, Randy and Sheamus put on an amazing WWE Championship match, that is until Cody Rhodes came in with a steel chair to try and "help" Randy in his match, only to get him DQ'd. To Randy's annoyance, he unleashed quite abit of rage onto Cody, thus bringing Ted into the equation. Shortly after, Randy ended up giving both of them a little bit of a thrashing. Shame really because there's no worser feeling than watching a great championship match, only for a superstar - or superstars in this case - interfere and ruin the outcome. Great match, easily a 5 star match.
30-Man Royal Rumble Match
One of the most exciting and story-telling Royal Rumble's since 2004 and 2006 following the stories of Chris Benoit's "18 year oddysey" and Rey Mysterio doing it for the late, great, Eddie Guerrero. Many superstars made their Rumble debut's in the 2010 Rumble, along with Shawn Michaels trying to win to earn his spot against The Undertaker for a second time at Wrestlemania 26. My bet to win was Triple H, and he came in pretty early. He still put on a good show, yet he was eliminated by his DX partner and long time friend, Shawn Michaels - with the help of a swift super kick over the top rope. For most of the rumble, it's just different superstars coming in and being eliminated by Shawn Michaels, with the exception of a few big names staying in like Chris Jericho and the biggest shocker (yet many expected) EDGE makes his return after tearing his achilles tendon. He enters at number 29 and the crowd go WILD! There were many Edgeheads there that night. The 30th entrant in the 2010 Rumble was Batista, who later eliminated Shawn Michaels, crushing his dreams of facing The Undertaker for a second time at Wrestlemania 26. I didn't mention earlier, but one of the coolest parts of this Rumble was when Shawn Michaels and Triple H were facing eachother down after tearing through everybody and eliminating them. They stared eachother down through the 10 second countdown, only for John Cena to enter. Both Shawn and Triple H looked straight at Cena from the ring and it told an amazing story and alot of memories came back from past matches. (Great part) - Back to where I was before, the final few ended up being Batista, Chris Jericho, Edge and John Cena. Batista was the first to be eliminated (correct me if I'm wrong), followed by Chris Jericho as soon as Edge gave him a spear upon entry. The final moment saw Cena prying behind Edge, ready to eliminate him and win his second Royal Rumble and headline Mania' 26 - The crowd went wild in horror and Edge quickly countered John's attempt at elimination and ended up being eliminated himself, thus bringing the Royal Rumble 2010 to a close, with your winner - The Rated R Superstar, EDGE!
All in all, the 2010 Royal Rumble is a must have for any collector and it's a great PPV all round. Many exciting matches and a perfect winner for the Rumble. I'll be reviewing the 2010 Elimination Chamber next, so watch out for that! Thanks for reading my review, and I hope I gave you a reason to get this AMAZING DVD.

I got this DVD (Steelbook Edition) when it first came out here in the UK and i really liked it. The card was great and every match had an "Oh my god" moment. The Undertaker VS Mysterio match certinatley lived up to expectations and luckily batista who had been feuding with rey did not come and ruin the match. And the Royal rumble match it's self was absoloutley brilliant. I will never forget the reaction of the crowd as Edge's msuci hit and he returned to spear his way to WrestleMania! This truley was an awesome PPV and is a must have for any WWE Fan!
