We all know that in your house is a pay per view that was put on to fill the gaps between the major pay per view events. and in fact this is a good concept, acting as a way to tie up fueds and story lines.
but as this dvd shows, this was where wcw had not started to make an impact on wwe's audience and therefore there wasnt much competition. i find that in the early 90's the wwe had not much competition and in a way you can see by the matches that was shown on this dvd but it is a good idea and shows promise. this one is for fans of shawn micheals, showing his up and coming career.

In Your House was a pay-per-view series created by the WWE. The original concept was that,, in months when the WWF was not holding one of its major PPV events , they would offer a two-hour PPV at a lower price. This concept was somewhat abandoned when WCW began offering three-hour PPV events on a monthly basis, forcing the WWF to do the same. The most prominent rivalry heading into the first IYH was between then-WWF Champion Diesel and his rival Sycho Sid. At WrestleMania XI, Diesel defeated Shawn Michaels who had Sid in his corner. The night after WrestleMania XI, Michaels told Sid, his bodyguard, not to show up for the rematch as his services were no longer required. But Sid did not take the thing well, as he powerbombed HBK to the mat three times. Diesel eventually came out to help Michaels, who was the man that brought him to WWE originally. So the situation was prepared for the confrontation between the two giants. In the undercard a feud between Bret Hart and Hakushi had also started, thanks to Jerry Lawler that persuaded Hakushi that Hart was a racist. Hart's feud with Lawler dated back to King of the Ring 1993, with Lawler that (since then) had always tried to derail Bret Hart. So, Bret offered to face Lawler at the same In Your House after his scheduled match with Hakushi. On this 2 set DVD we also have IYH 2. In the undercard, then WWF Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett and his personal enforcer The Roadie were embroiled in a feud against the 1-2-3 Kid and Shawn Michaels. The Roadie had injured the Kid before IYH 1, while Jarrett had provoked HBK during a match on Raw vith Savio Vega (Micheals was commentating the match-up). In a tag team match, Men on a Mission took on Savio Vega and Razor Ramon to put an end to a rivalry that was started at the KOTR 1995. Bam Bam Bigelow started his new stint as a face, feuding with Henry Godwinn. Finally, in the main event, we saw a rematch of IYH 1. At the first In Your House Diesel had successfully retained the WWF Championship defeating Sid via disqualification after Tatanka interfered. This set up a tag team match for the King of the Ring pay-per-view in late June, with Tatanka and Sid against Diesel and Bam Bam Bigelow. Diesel and Bigelow won the contest after Sid refused to tag in the match and walked away. To avoid a possible deja-vu of this walking away, it was announced that the new match between Diesel and Sid was booked to be a Lumberjack match.
