For me, 2008 was the best year for the WWE since 2001. The year was centred around 2 incredible rivalries (Edge and Undertaker and Michaels and Chris Jericho) which produced some phenomenal matches. This boxset is an absolute bargain for 2008 considering how many classic matches you get, heres my picks from each PPV:

Royal Rumble:
Edge vs Mysterio
The Rumble match itself, Cena's shocking return that turns Madison Square Garden into a Frenzy

No Way Out:
The Smackdown Elimination Chamber, superb spots and a nice finish

Wrestlemania 24:
Ric Flair vs Shawn Michaels
Edge vs Undertaker

Backlash:
Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match - HHH ends the age of Orton and manages to keep the title till Survivor Series
Edge vs Undertaker

Judgment Day:
Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho
HHH vs Randy Orton Steel Cage match

One Night Stand:
THE WHOLE PPV IS AMAZING
Undertaker vs Edge TLC (Better then Cena vs Edge from 2006, more Tables, probably match of the year)
Hardy vs Umaga FCA

Night Of Champions:
HHH vs Cena (Wrestlemania 22 rematch, as good if not better)

Great American Bash:
Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho
John Cena vs JBL Parking Lot Brawl
HHH vs Edge

Summerslam:
Undertaker vs Edge Hell In A Cell (This match got slated cause there was no blood but for me it is an incredible contest that doesnt need blood, great spots and nice to see the superstars working outside the Cell again)
John Cena vs Batista is amazing too

Unforgiven:
The Whole PPV!
Michaels vs Y2J Unsanctioned Match is one of the matches of the year, incredible stuff
All Scramble matches are amazing

No Mercy:
HHH vs Jeff Hardy (For me, their best match together, great technical wrestling)
Shawn Michaels vs Y2J Ladder Match

Cyber Sunday:
Batista vs Y2J
Taker vs Big Show

Survivor Series:
Triple Threat because of Edge's shocking Return!
Team Michaels vs Team JBL and Team Batista vs Team Orton are both good

Armageddon:
Mysterio vs Punk (these 2 stole the show, great contest, shame Rey ended up with a broken nose!)
HHH vs Edge vs Jeff Hardy (Hardys first title win!)
Randy Orton vs Batista

All the matches I have mentioned make this boxset an essential buy, especially considering the price, Get Buying!

this dvd set is incredible it will be no way near as good as 2009 which i am gettin but it is still great after the 50 pound deduction. The year is mainly good except judgement day but still that has a classic steel cage encounter.
9.25/10
Not best of the 21st century and not the worst average ppv set.
Brilliant normal set.

this should be a great boxed set considering 2008 was a great year in the wwe full of exiting ppvs with some of wwe best matches ever inculding steel cage for wwe chapionship judgement day,hell in the cell for world heavy weight championship summerslam and of course the royal rumble match!
