J'ai tout les dvd de Survivor series 05 a wm 27 (coffret 2 et 3 dvd compris ) et celui la est DANS MON TOP 5 (mon premier est celui de eddie puis apres les 4 autres sont equivalent )
Il ya un magnifique documentaire qui nous peret de bien decouvrir la WCW !
On est bien imerger dans le contexte :)

Il y a aussi des tres tres bon match il y aurai pu en avoir quelque un de mieux mais dans l'ensemble les match sont tres bon notament le *****

This is a fantastic DVD, you don't have to be a fan of WCW to actually like it, if u are a general wrestling fan you must buy this. The selection of matches are great and the documentary showing how WCW came to power and how it folded is just great. It's told by some of the biggest names that were involved in WCW and you won't realise how big WCW were until you watch this.

The documentary is good but focuses too heavily on the mistakes and downfall of what was once a great company and for a little while (1996 - 1998) better than wwe. The selection of matches is very good but i would have like to have seen more from the 1989 - 1993 era. The stand out bouts are Sting and Lex Luger vs The Steiner Brothers, Sting vs Rick Rude, Eddy Guerrero vs Dean Malenko, and Chris Jericho vs Juventud Guerrera. The Sting vs Big Van Vader bout is really slow and the Ric Flair vs The Giant bout is duller than dish water. Overall a good dvd.

A very good boxset with disc 1 featuring a indepth look at the history of wcw and how it was able to rival raw,the two other discs feature 20 complete matches i struggle to pick a match i did,t like they are all great matches

i loved wcw when it was in its prime so when i got this dvd i was so happy what a great dvd it was too but i want wcw ppv.s on dvd so come on silver vision do something about it

quality purchase well recommended, as always with these box sets it could do with a bit more depth. Barely no mention of Sting who as we all no IS wcw!!

A Great dvd to add to any wrestling library. I was unsure about buying this but I already had Rise & fall of ECW. I thought why not. When I watched this last night I was very surprised how WCW went from Regional promotions to global over night.
Loads of classic matches throughout for the ages. But very bad business decisons were made for the business. Like taking matts away from ringside, making a hugh matches fit for ppv not for monday nitro or thunder & screwing the fans out of good possible matches.
Best part I did like about this DVD the formation of the NWO, The first proper faction before Nation of domination, DOA & DX.

awesome dvd...even though there are some omissions from the documentary disc, it is to be expected from wwe. but still a very interesting dvd with some points for thought. the matches picked are also very very good. a definite one to put on your wish list

Etant fan de WCW , je fus du par le contenue de ce coffret...On ne voit pratiquement que Ric Flair ( Pourtant j'aime Ric Flair ) , mais il y a d'autres catcheurs dont on ne parle mme pas comme Bret Hart et d'autres ce qui est fort dommage , sinon l'histoire de cette federation est passionnante .

A must have for any wrestling fan with some incredible interviews and matches as well 5*

i am really looking for ward to getting this it looks like a tremendous set although there is no matches from 1999 or 85, 86 or 87

This DVD is a wrestling encyclopedia to people who dont know there history. It takes u back to Jim Crocket Promotions and talks about the ending of wcw. 5/5 highly recomended.

Just Sat through the 3 disc boxset, wat an awsum dvd, brings back some great memories of great matches

WOW!!! IVE JUST SAT THROUGH THE ENTIRE 3 DISC SET OF THIS EXCELLENT WCW BOX SET.THIS WILL HAVE FANS IN WCW HEAVEN!! DISC 1 WAS VERY INTERESTING EXPLAINING HOW WCW BEGAN, RIGHT THROUGH TO THE LAST SHOW.AFTER WATCHING I REALISED HOW MUCH I STILL MISS THE OLD NWO/STING/GOLDBERG ERA.DISC 2 AND 3 COVER LOTS OF GOOD MATCHES.I JUST HOPE SILVERVISION AND WWE RE-RELEASE RISE AND FALL OF ECW WITH A 3RD DISC OF MATCHES AND COVERING THE ECW OF NOW AND THE 2 ECW ONE NIGHT STANDS.

un dvd exellent recommand? ? tout les fans hold school ? qui la wcw manque hulk hogan la nwo goldberg ces vraiment g?nial de revivre sa mais je trouve un seul point noire un seul match de goldberg je pense que se catcheur est un grand du catch avec un reccord de 173victoires 8d?faites ? la wcw et invincu en un contre un ? la wwe j'aurais juste aim? un peu plus..

The first disc is the documentary which is amazing it goes in to detail about everything it also discusses Goldberg.

The second disc is the old stuff from 1985 to 1994 with some amazing matches like Flair vs Magnum TA, Flair vs Steamboat, a great battle between the rock n roll express and the midnight express, lex luger and sting vs steiner bros, Rick Rude vs Sting.

the 3 disc is the modern matches between 96 to 2000. This disc has more cruiserweight action in. Mysterio vs Malenko, War games, Syxx vs E.Guerrero, E.Guerrero, Jericho vs Juventud, Goldberg vs DDP, Booker T vs Lance Storm.

I love this DVD but if your not really a fan of old style wrestling then i wouldn't get it. WCW was the best in the 80's featuring the best talent and early 90's. It also features rare hard to find matches for collector.

I Can't Wait for this i have seen sum reviews frm the Usa sites & its Looking Up :) this will set nicely with My NWO back in black dvd & wcw best of starrcade dvd set :) Cant wait will be here for friday i hope my day off work & ill watch it as soon as it gets here :) Cant Wait !

J'ai h?te de la sortie de ce DVD. J'esp?re simplement que les commentaires seront neutres, chose que je doute. Je pense que le livre qui est sorti il y a quelques ann?es serait un bon compl?ment pour ce DVD.

I really cant wait for this to be released. It will be interesting to see how WCW rose to the top of the ratings war only to fall flat on their face and go under. Its something fans have been wanting for a long time and its finally nearly here. The selection of matches look good adn the documentary will give us an insight into WCW like never before. Shame Eric Bischoff didnt take part though. Would have been very good to here his thoughts after all this time. Anyhow this set will be awesome and im definitley getting it!

This immedeiatly took my attantion as I first started watching wrestling here in Belgium with WCW (as it was the only wrestling broadcasted here) As a collectors item I would immediatly buy it but it does not seem to be everything it could be. 3 discs is not nerly enough to honour this company and especialy it's stars.ans thats what missing for me. A diversaty of matches, I remeber most of the main events that are on the discs and even have half of them on PPV-tapes I bouth on the net.
There are so many great matches with the "undercard" wrestlers, all of them wwould have a great carrier in the WWF/E later. but I watched it more for guys like Malenko, Saturn, Konan, Psycosis, and other great guys who had more then 5 moves in there arsenal (sorry Goldberg)
The days of the Filthy animals VS Revolution where in the afterdays of NWO. And that stuff seems to be missing, And one big mistake is letting out the HART/Benoit tribute match to Owen witch was an all time classic (my all time favourite!!!)
And as usual with those 3discs sets it is even here the case that most of the matches are from PPV (witch therefore you normaly allready own). This is the problem with all of the DVD's the WWE makes these day's, take some more great TV-matches and get a mutch bigger collector's item! My point is proven with the Batisat DVD coming out, 99% PPV matches so why should I bother buying it???
Hope the make a WCW part 2 DVD witch will?include better stuff.

Not Too Brilliant On The Matches But I Think The Documentry On Disc One Will Be Rather Entertaining ! Now The Matches Arnt Good, Im Hopping The Documentry Is Alot Like The Monday Night War And The Rise And Fall Of ECW ! Seeming As They Were Booth Entertaining !!

Big names and unforgettable moments seem to be in this dvd set. I believe it can be a good product.

wcw were riding high in the mid - ninetys, they were beating wwe raw almost each and every week in the monday night ratings war and was the only place to find wwe past greats, high risk offensive wrestlers, the quality of rey mysterio, the late, great - eddie guerrero and the wolverine chris benoit, w/ a roster to die for wcw was riding a short lived high. the wcw had an advantage on the wwe, w/ their monday night show being live. the wcw played dirty and revealed wwe raw results, this and other dirty moves ultimately lead to their downfall. the wcw was where the originals were born w/ nwo (a dx rip off) and the original idea of an attitude era later moulded into the wwf attitude era which lead to the demise of the wcw. wcw would still be around today if Ppl like a dollar grabbing eric bischoff and vince russo had played their cards right but although this dvd has an advantage w/ a great back catalogue at the ready to do anything possible w/ and make this dvd anthonlgy a timeless classic like the macho man predecesser, this dvd lacks greatness w/ a highlight reel at best and odd matches wich in my opinion were picked out randomly. this dvd is the wwe's way of cashing in on the wcw name, w/ the name come's fan's and this dvd is the wwe's money in the bank. this dvd lacks match quality w/ mysterio/eddie guerrero and bret/benoit among others missing from it's catalogue. this is not for true wcw fans who want to remember the wcw's past glory or for fan's wanting great match viewing but for fan's who only want a piece of sport's entertainment history and who will buy anthing w/ the wcw name.

This looks like a great compalation of WCW. Looks like one of the best DVDs WWE has to offer!
