a nice collection of matches but could have done with some more raw and smackdown moments shown. for example the showdown with tyson and his many run in's with vince could have been put in there it's just austin talking for a couple of minutes before each match is shown. come on wwe give us fans what we want and release another stone cold set featuring his promos and THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE!!!

stone cold was one of the greatest ever to be in the wwe.
this dvd is very good as it gives you many great matches including ones with rock triple h and bret hart. It also tells a good story when it comes to the doccumentry side of the dvd. i definitely would reccomend this dvd
This is not what i was expecting at all
The matches were good in the 2nd and 3rd dvd and the steel cage match was good in the 1st dvd. The should have made it a 4 or 5 disc set and added some of his greatest moments on the div. The should have used the same format as the smackdown 10th anniversary dvd and counted down his top 50 moments.
LESS MATCHES
MORE MOMENTS
This a good and entertaining dvd set. You get to learn and hear from one of the best and most popular superstars of all time including some of his best matches chosen by him. However some of the match choices are questionable but there are still plenty to enjoy.
Here are the stand out matches from this set:
Stone Cold vs. Bret Hart - Survivor Series 96 - 8/10
Stone Cold vs. Owen Hart - Summerslam 97 - 9/10
Stone Cold vs. Dude Love - Unforgiven 98 - 9/10
Stone Cold vs. Kane - King of the Ring 98 - 10/10
Stone Cold vs. Triple H - No Way Out 01 - 10/10
Stone Cold vs. The Rock - Wrestlemania 17 - 10/10
Although these matches are great all the others on the set are quite boring and have uninteresting storylines to them.
Overall so many classic Stone Cold matches are missing from this set, that is why i have given it 4 out of 5 stars.

this is one of the greatest superstars and dvds this 3 disc set is fantastic with around 20 matches plus great extras one of my favourite matches is the three stages of hell match against hhh there is nothing wrong with this dvd worth the money especially with the cheap price of silver vision . he has had some the most memorable rivalries with the rock mick foley triple h and the undertaker and many more stone cold is one of my favourites.you should by this and thats the bottom line because stone cold said so. 5 stars fantastic
Well this is just another good release from Silvervision! This time we look at the Legacy of Stone Cold with an amazing collection of his greatest matches. Some of WWE's greatest matches include Austin. For example..NWO 01's Three Stages Of Hell match-Bloody superb match and also the shockin Survivor Series 00 match with Triple H. The whole set will keep you gripped to ya seat trust me. I watched this set in a weekend and i was not bored once. Love this set. Its in my top 5 for sure!
Cofanetto geniale!

Stone Cold Steve Austin an icon in the wwe and wrestling industry! The Texas Rattlesnake changed the wrestling industry in the late 1990?s and early 2000?s!This collection has some pf his best matches, but lacks something, matches like Stone Cold vs Bret Hart, submission match at wrestlemania 13(without shadow of doubts the best in Austin?s career!),would be also interesting to include his victory at the royal Rumble 1998(in it?s intirety!) and his victory against Jake "The Snake"Roberts at King of The Ring 1996 wich was the very start of 3:16 infamous speech and the main step for the gratness in his career!Wrestlemania 25 will mark the induction of Stone Cold in the WWE Hall Of Fame,so give me a hell yea...?cause Stone Cold say so!!Almost perfect dvd,add this to your collection!
This a great dvd set with some ecw and wcw matches this one of the best 3 disc sets you can get.
Stone Cold Steve Austin quite possibly one of the best wrestlers to step in the ring he has brought it very best to WWE offering some of the best rivalry's of all time. WWE and Silver Vision have released many Stone Cold DVD's and this one the Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin is to rap up the history of what this man had to offer.
The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin I was quite disappointed with I felt that Stone Cold has had other great matches which just were not adding on to the DVD. However the matches on this DVD some great good while others are just bad. A match that I really did find boring was Unforgiven 1998 Stone Cold VS Dude Love this match is nothing special and I really think it's not an important match to stick on the DVD. Some of the best matches on the DVD are without of a doubt the matches with Triple H and The Rock as these are classic matches and really some of the best during classic WWE days.
I am wondering where are these matches with Vince McMahon the McMahon VS Austin era was big but yet none of that was included on the 3 disc set (Check the McMahon DVD for them because some are added on there). I did feel if your going to call this the legacy you should add the promos that Stone Cold did most of them were classic promos some are on the Raw 15th DVD while others were not. The extras on the DVD are nothing special such as Stone Cold is NOT Vince%u2019s Son from Saturday Night's Main Event was pathetic compared back in the 90's. As for the gladiator commercial it is nothing special if you already own WrestleMania 21 on DVD. I wanted Stone Cold's debut match to be added to the DVD or even his King of the Ring win against Jake the Snake Roberts that is vital to the DVD but yet it's not here.
However the match with Yokozuna from Summerslam is short but it's fairly decent and the strap match with Savio Vega is quite an interesting match. Stone Cold Steve Austin / Terry Funk Confrontation this segment is quite funny mostly because Stone Cold pulls out some great lines on what he saying to Terry Funk.
My favorite matches to the DVD 2 out of 3 Falls Match against Triple H I think it lasts for about 40 minutes it's exciting and really I have seen it that many times but trust me it doesn't get boring it's highly entertaining thats why that match was voted best of 2001. WrestleMania 17 Stone Cold VS The Rock this is fantastic plus it features a shocking ending which I guess everyone has seen the only major problems I hate is the blurring it's all over during the match luckily I own the original unedited version of the match. The DVD does feature one great promo the one from ECW where Stone Cold talks about WCW it's interesting and very entertaining. A great adition to the DVD is that Stone Cold presents it and gives us a bit of information which is just fantastic as Stone Cold did put effort into this DVD.
The DVD makes me wonder why it finishes in 2001 Stone Cold didn't finish wrestling until 2003 (in the match against The Rock which is seen on his DVD) we don't see Stone Cold in the Power Trip with Triple H or the Invasion oh and we don't even see Stone Cold's Royal Rumble win but he seen Triple H's Rumble win on his DVD. Sadly the DVD could have been better and a lot feels quite missing however if you want some other of Stone Cold's best matches then I recommend you buy Triple H and The Rock's DVD as they are also seen there.
Anyway I am only giving it 3 stars as some of Stone Cold's history is not here his Royal Rumble wins or his King of the Ring win and even the promos should have been added. However it is a must to add to your WWE DVD collection but I recommend buying Stone Cold's DVD Hellyeah which is in the Tagged Classics's series it has some great moments on there.
the most memorable match in the world :stone cold vs the rock wrestlemania X-seven

Great dvd follows the life and times of stone cold and has interviews with the man himself i know that not all dvds have interviews with the actual dvd star. (The rocks dvd)
Follows the time that he started in the business back in wcw and coming into ecw and the comments that he makes about bischoff are great.
Then right up to the present day with the rattlesnake winding up the boss.
Great dvd would highly reccommend it!
Just a must-have for every Stone Cold fan like me.
I also have a signed copy of his book The Stone Cold truth and the book and the DVD(s) give a good clear picture of what the rattlesnake was all about.

Very good collection of the rattlesnake's greatest matches. Memorable th feud with Rocky at WM X7 and the matches with Triple H. Great collection.
STONE COLD! STONE COLD! STONE COLD! Some good things to know here about the Texas Rattlesnake! Also some great matches including ones against The Rock, Triple H and others. Also a has-to-be DVD set of one of the greatest WWE stars in your wrestling collection!
The Legacy Of Stone Cold Steve Austin is a 3-disc set that purports to be the definitive retrospective of the career of who is to many fans the greatest main-eventer in the history of WWE. There has been numerous Austin biographies released under the Home Video banner ever since Stone Cold's star exploded in the world of wrestling back in the late 1990s, and The Legacy marks the second DVD release, after the Stone Cold Truth, to come out following Steve's 2003 in-ring retirement.
Overall, The Legacy is a slight disappointment. Despite a selection of decent and rare matches, this doesn't feel like the final word on the career of the Texas Rattlesnake. Also, while Steve Austin takes us through his wrestling career in his own words, there aren't any interviews or contributions from other WWE personel, usually a WWE Home Video trademark. It just seems a little half-hearted somehow. Also, nothing really is said by Austin about his retirement (a hint that Stone Cold may be up for "one more match" in the near future?...), the DVD just ends around the time of WrestleMania X-Seven, which was two years before Austin's actual last bout to date.
When you consider the in-depth, career-spanning DVD packages covering every major WWE Superstar from the past such as Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Bret Hart etc, one expects, despite previous releases covering a lot of the same ground, a three-disc release on the 6-time WWE Champion to be just as thorough. Sadly, the Legacy is lacking an awful lot. But on the plus side, Steve Austin's comments are candid and fascinating, and there is a lot of fantastic footage to be enjoyed by those who were around at the height of Austin 3:16 Mania, or those of you who are still relatively new to wrestling and want to learn more about who is, for me, a bona-fide Hall of Famer, and one of the greatest Superstars in the long history of professional wrestling.
