Two awesome PPV's, thats simply what they are. Survivor Series wraps up the Alliance/WWF fued very well with a swerve that no-one will see coming, unless you've seen it before.
But Vengence is what you should buy this set for. It includes what is in my opinion the best hardcore match ever, Undertaker Vs. RVD. It also ncludes the crowning of the first Undisputed Champion, which is a great set of 3 matches.

All in all, great pack of PPV's, and anyone who likes wrestling should pick these up.

Worth the buy simply just for the goosebumps given by the climax of the alliance invasion storyline delivering a great finish to a wrongly highly criticised storyline. Survivor Series once again successful.

Vengence is an alright step away from the invasion storyline that couldve been better but could have also been a lot worse. A good effort at following up from a decent storyline that shows a positive step forward for the company

The two Pay-Per-View's that culminated the year of 2001 in the WWE.

First off, the Survivor Series. The Winner Takes All match headlining the event with other the WWE staying in business, or the Alliance staying in business. Even though the storyline was heavily critisised, iin culminated in an amazing PPV event. With the beginning of what could have made Trish Stratus's career as well as an amazing Steel Cage Match for the Tag Team Championships, this definately makes the Survivor Series 2001 an amazing pay per view to relive.

Then there is Vengeance. The classic confrontations to crown the first ever Undisputed Champion. With the co-owners of the WWE fighting over who they wanted to win, one would succeed with a major blow to the other. A great way to the end of 2001 and once again, an amazing pay-per-view.

I highly recommend this Tagged Classics DVD to all WWE fans as this is a piece of history in the storied life of the WWE.

I remember Survivor Series 2001 like it was yesterday, WWE finally putting an end to the WCW/ECW Alliance thanks to Kurt Angle. It's a great PPV, with the 5 on 5 Tag Match, the Tag Steel Cage match between the Dudley Boys & The Hardy Boyz, the Battle Royal to see who won't be fired for a year and so much more.

Vengeance saw Ric Flair make his WWE PPV return after announcing he owns a part of WWE. It also saw Chris Jericho defeat Stone Cold & The Rock in the same night to become the first Undisputed Champion.

2001 definitely was one of the WWE's best years, and these two epic PPV's are probably in the Top 5 of that year.

The actaul Invasion storyline ran from June - November of 2001 and in that time, the PPV's were some of the best in WWE's history. The Survivor Series was a phenomenal event to end the invasion once and for all. The memory is still so clear to me the night I stayed awake till 3am to watch the event live. The excitement and drama was electric and the mixture of matches and wrestling styles was simply outstanding. In my personal opinion, this PPV is up their and above some wrestlemania's.

Compared to Survivor Series, Vegeance s a bit of a downer but does have some good points and some good matches.

these two events finished off the year 2001,one of the finest years in the wwfs history up to that point, granted the invasion angle wasnt the greatest in the world but at survivor series 2001 it ended and it ended in style, there isnt one bad match on the card.
vengeance 2001 is also a classic,a night when two belts became one ,a night when a legend would be born forever more,i implore you to get these two dvds, stunning.

An event that Chris Jericho still talks about to this day, Vengeance 2001, the night he became the first ever undisputed world champion. Yes he did indeed beat The Rock & Stone Cold in the same night. Vengeance is the first wwe ppv Ric Flair appears at in nearly 8 years. The other disk is the last Survivour Series in the tag classic range. Its WWE vs. WCW & ECW main event. Kurt Angle shocks the Alliance plus The Rock pins Austin finally. Its a great peroid of time in WWE one of the best tag classics to come out of 2001. If you are one that likes to keep a bit of history then get this. 4 stars

great survivor series...the end of the invasion storyline, with a star-studded elimination match with some great moments. a very entertaining tag team cage match with the dudleys taking on the hardys is also one to look out for.
vengeance is another very good ppv, with the crowning of the first ever undisputed champion, with a 4 man tournament concept. taker vs rvd in a hardcore match is also noteworthy. worth the buy!
