These two DVDs are of superb quality. Its like watching these classic matches on TV all over again [Or in my case the first time]
First of all, I would give this DVD set 5 stars, as you are truly looking at the pioneers of the sport doing what they did best in their prime.
If, like myself, you missed the attitude era, these two DVDs are the perfect opportunity to catch up or fill that missing gap in your life which is this amazing era.

The highlight of SummerSlam 2000 will have to be the TLC match. Being the first of its kind, the lengths these men went to for our entertainment was amazing. Trust me, this match alone should be enough reasons to buy the DVD, but would you like more?

Shane Mcmahon vs Steve Blackman for the Hardcore title, the match will have you on the end of your seat from start to finish, you won't be disappointed
Chris Jericho Vs Chris Benoit; Simply a match that epitomizes wrestling as a sport, a passion and a livelihood. You won't be disappointed with that match either.
The Rock vs Kurt Angle Vs Triple H
Now anybody reading this, that is simply a dream match which came true. They quite frankly were the biggest names in wrestling at the time, maybe ever. So i suggest you buy this so you can see why :)

SummerSlam 2001 didn't disappoint either. This DVD might be on the level, or maybe even greater than SummerSlam 2000; and that was a pretty high bar in all due honesty.
Lance Storm vs Edge for the Intercontinental Championship. Edge and Storm in their prime [in my personal opinion] just an awesome match
Jeff Hardy vs Rob Van Dam hardcore title. Absolutely beauty of a match, captivating throughout, its worth your money, and that's guarantee
Booker T vs The Rock, for the WCW title was a hell of a match also, with the Book-end vs the Rock Bottom. Who wins? wait and see :)
But the Match that stole the night for me was definitely Stone Cold vs Angle for the World title. The history of these two, fueled by the desire to become the World champ and face of the company, also amplified by the who corporate backing Stone Cold, this was the match of matches.

After writing this review I wish I could give the set 6 stars, but i'm only limited to 5 sadly
But Hopefully, this will be enough for you die-hard wrestling fans to buy this DVD, as this decent price of ?14.99 [which is a stunning deal for this current time]

First TLC Match Dudleys vs. Hardys vs. Edge & Chrsitian; The Rock Returns to fight Booker T for the WCW Title.

No blurs, No Soundtrack change, No Rules the attitude era is back in another 2 disc Tag Classic. SummerSlam 2000 is the greatest SS ever because of its Triple Threat Match but the whole PPV is something you can enjoy from start to finish. SummerSlam 2001 was released during the Invasion storyline, also including the Double Main Event, making it a must watch PPV. Plus the extras on both discs are fun to watch including the making of the summerslam 2000 beach commercial. 5/5 my favourite one so far, can't wait to get my Armageddon 2000 and No Way Out 2001

Summerslam 2000 has first ever TLC full with huge spots, a 3 way for the WWE Title between HHH/Angle/Rock which is very entertaining, Jericho and Benoit also go at it in 2/3 Falls good wresting bout, Taker/Kane put up a fight and Shane & Blackman put on a decent Hardcore bout with a ending you wont belive

Summerslam 2001 was during the Invasion angle between WWF & WCW/ECW. It had a good bout between Rock/Booker T for WCW belt, A great contest between Angle & Austin for the WWF title with stunners and german suplexs here there and every where, a Great ladder bout between two high flyers RVD & Jeff for Hardcore strap, Great Cage match with Taker/Kaner VS. DDP/Kanyon its a all out fight, Rhyno/Jericho have a good bout and so do Edge & Storm for the IC Title.

Overall 2 of the best Summerslams Ever 2 Awesome PPVS i highly recomend, can't wait for the rest of 2001 to be released on tagged classic thank you Silvervision.

What a great Tagged Classic set this is. Perhaps one of the best Summerslam events of all time here. Summerslam 2000 was brilliant with its thrills and spills of the Debut of the TLC match. Kane went one on one with his brother The Undertaker and The Triple Threat WWE Championship Match with Kurt Angle, Triple H and The Rock. There was no dull moment here with The King himself competing against Tazz with a little help from good old J.R. I will always remeber this event very fondly as I was 14 years old at the time and I remember watchin this in our lounge on the floor with cushions from the sofa to sleep on, at 1am in the morning. I could never get bored of watchin this set as it also includes the epic WCW/ECW Invasion at its peak with The Rock capturing the WCW Championship from Booker T and Stone Cold defending The WWE Championship against The WWE'S own Kurt Angle. Two fantastic events at an unbeatable price. If your a WWE fan,then you really should not be without this set!

summerslam 2000 was 10/10.the matches that stole the show were the hardcore match,triple threat for the wwe title,tlc match and benoit vs jericho in a 2 out of 3 falls match.
summerslam 2001 wasnt as good but it was still great.the matches that made the night great were angle vs austin,booker t vs rock,rvd vs hardy.

Summerslam 2000 was the PPV that really got me into wrestling. I have seen this hundreds of times since and it still excites me every time. The TLC match is one of the greatest matches in WWF/E history. I highly reccomend this to anyone even remotely interested in wrestling.

summerslam 2000 has some exciting moments best match certainly on the card was the tlc match the wwe title match was also quite entertaining featuring the famous moment were kurt angle gets knocked out when the table breaks before the pedigree was executed.
summerslam 2001 is also an entertaining watch best match defiantly for me is the booker t vs the rock match really enjoyable. the stone cold and kurt angle match is also a good watch. i particularly enjoyed this summerslam because it was during the invasion story, and it is very enjoyable to watch this great storyline over again as it is one of the best in my opinion

Summer Slam 2000, although not one of the best installments of the PPV certainly has is merits.
The Mix- Tag Team Match for the Intercontinental Championship was a first of its kind and is one to watch for.

TLC 2 is an exceptionally good match and is fast paced and high flying from the beginning. Any one who is a fan of the classic TLC Matches will love this.

The WWE Championship Match is an historic match for all the wrong reasons, all be it a funny one. Originally Triple H was meant to Pedigree Kurt Angle through the Announce Table and have him out of the match for a while before making his return, however the table never broke and Angle suffered a major concusion- you'll see he is out of it and its quite hillarious but it leaves The Rock and Triple H to get down to some Classic Wrestling. Apparently Angle was the butt of many a joke in the locker room as a result of that Match.

Another Match to watch for is Undertaker v Kane. Although not one of their best matches it was a great way to even up the evening with an interesting conclusion to the match for good measure.

SUMMER SLAM 2001

This is actually one of my favourtie Summer Slams behind 1993 and 1994. The WCW/ECW Invasion was among WWE and Summer Slam 2001 was the first major PPV that exploited the Invasion war and it did so brilliantly. Nearly every match is a classic bout but their are some outstanding matches-

Chris Jericho v Rhyno- A brilliant technical match that went the distance for both superstars who really gave it their all

WWE Hardcore Championship Match- Ladder Match
Jeff Hardy v RVD
The Second Ladder Match in Summer Slam History. Terffic High Flyers in their own right gave us a great match. Afterwards their was true appreciation for eachothers talents and that came across at the end of the Match

WWE Tag-Team Championship & WCW Tag- Team Championship Unification Match
Steel Cage: Undertaker & Kane v DDP & Kanyon

Great promo building up to this match, with a good couple of months worth of delivery also. Brothers of Destruction came with a mission and both teams delivered a great match with a predictable ending but enjoyable non the less.

Both WWE and WCW Championship Matches were great matches respectively but the other matched before them truly shone brighter on the evening. This is an excellent PPV to watch over and over again as it showed the true diversity between the Superstars of WWE, ECW & WCW.

Got this dvd set Friday, its great its my first tagged classics dvd i own and i didnt think it would be the unedited with the wwf logo soo its even better thats it the wwf one :) are all the tagged dvds like this ? i might buy more enjoyed this title its a Great Buy for thr price the rock vs booker T great match :)

I already own Summerslam 2000 on original WWF dvd, but this one includes Summer 2001 and summerslam 2001 was one hell of a PPV, so i will be getting this.....................WOOT! finally its released!
