a very very solid no way out. good match between shane and orton as well as predictable but enjoyable elimination chamber matches
Bon bon No Way Out . Les Eliminations Chambers sont vraiment bien , Edge est plus ruser que jamais...RKO Magnifique et c'est un plaisir de voir Shawn comme je l'avais voulu...
No Way Out is the middle step in the Road to Wrestlemania and this time, the superstars must overcome the most demonic structure in the WWE, the Elimination Chamber. 2 Championships are on the line, and 2 surprises in both matches. Also Shane McMahon seeks retribution on Randy Orton's actions against the McMahon family, and Shawn Michaels tries to get free from JBL's employment, and if he loses he is owned by JBL. One thing is for sure there is No Way Out!
1. WWE Championship: Elimination Chamber Match - Triple H def. Edge (c), Jeff Hardy, The Big Show, The Undertaker & Vladimir Kozlov - 8/10
Jeff Hard quickly eliminates the champion Edge which was shocking to see and from then it was action packed as Kozlov dominates Hardy and then Big Show helps before The Game Triple H enters and starts to even the score. The Undertaker enters last and gets rid of Kozlov. And then a Swanton Bomb off the chamber pod to The Big Show gets rid of the giant. Jeff Hardy is then gone by a Tombstone Piledriver and then the 2 massive superstars Triple H and The Undertaker battle out, but 2 Pedigrees gave Triple H his 8th WWE Championship, a great opener.
2. No Holds Barred Match: Randy Orton def. Shane McMahon - 7/10
This match showed that Shane even when he rarely wrestles can put on a show and he busts open Orton quite early on but both superstars go all out and Legacy members Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase interfere but Rhodes recieves a leap of faith from Shane. Orton comes back and a devastating and brilliant RKO seals the victory for the Viper.
3. ECW Championship: Jack Swagger (c) def. Finlay w/ Hornswoggle - 5/10
This match wasn't one to remember but Swagger and Finaly both had dominant parts but it was Swagger who came out on top of this contest.
4. All or Nothing Match: Shawn Michaels def. John "Bradshaw" Layfield - 7/10
This was a n emotional match for HBK and normally I don't get excited by either of these 2 superstars but this match had most things, and eventually the Showstopper was able to hit some Sweet Chin Music and earn back his dignity from JBL and celebrates with his wife.
5. World Heavyweight Championship: Elimination Chamber Match - Edge def. John Cena (c), Chris Jericho, Kane, Mike Knoz & Rey Mysterio - 8/10
This was an incredible chamber match because of the shocks of what happened, as Kofi Kingston entered the chamber he was attacked by Edge who entered one of the chamber pods and stayed there. Jericho and Mysterio started off well and Mike Knox came in the hurt Rey and so did Kane, but it was Kane who was eliminated first and then Knox went. Edge and John Cena both came in but the next elimination guaranteed and new champion as a spear a 619 and a Codebreaker got rid of Cena. Jericho was then eliminated before Edge dominated Mysterio and gave him a spear to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
Extras include a match between Shane McMahon and Randy orton the night after on Raw plus more. . . . .
Overall rating: 8/10

WWE Championship Elimination Chamber: Undertaker/Big Show/Kozlov/Triple-H/Jeff Hardy/Edge. A match there it actually feels like anyone can win. BIG surprise early in this CLASSIC MATCH!!! 5+/5
No Holds Barred: Shane McMahon vs Randy Orton. Shane is no wrestler. Lots of stunts (tables & trashcans). 4/5
ECW Championship: Jack Swagger vs Finlay. The All-American against the Irish Brawler never lifts. The crowd seems bored. 3/5
Shawn Michaels vs JBL. I don%u2019t like JBL, but Michaels is a great performer. 4/5
World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber: Cena/Knox/Kane/Kingston/Jericho/Mysterio. Only Jericho/Cena feels like possible winners. But EVEN BIGGER surprise early in this match. After the first 15 minutes of the match it feels like any of the 4 remaining wrestlers can win. Really good match. 5/5
Extras: Interview with surprisewrestler and a match between Orton & Shane the day after at RAW. Very different, but the same type of match. Great as an extra to see the aftermath and the building for Wrestlemania 25. 4/5

No Way Out 2009:
WWE CHAMPIONSHIP:
ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH:
TRIPLEH VS. BIG SHOW VS. UNDERTAKER VS. JEFF HARDY VS. EDGE VS. VLADIMIR KOZLOV:
first off, why is kozlov in this match. all these men used the chamber innovatively but "headbutt" does not do anything. edge makes this match and he's only in it for 1 minute! jeff eliminates edge in the first 60 seconds. but, this chamber is a copycat to what ecw "december 2 dismember" was supposed to be. paul heyman set out the exact plan but vince said no to it. edge being champion is eliminated first, at ECW D2D big show is eliminated as heyman planned. and fan favourites triple h or undertaker (CM Punk or Rob Van Dam) wins the title. anyway really good match.
ECW CHAMPIONSHIP:
JACK SWAGGER VS. FINLAY:
just another boring 10 minute ecw title match. nothing special.
NO HOLDS BARRED:
SHANE MCMAHON VS. RANDY ORTON:
aw hardcore match. this brings me back to shanes wwf days. classic match including, shane doing the leap of faith again off the top rope through the announce table! then the coast to coast on a garbage can. one point in the match shane-o- picks up the tv monitor and cracks the corner of it on randy's skull!!!! orton is busted open immediately (that is not fake, no trace of fake blood, or blading) the legend killer now has a scar on his head from that shot. orton also suplexes shane off the top rope through a table. then an RKO to round it off. 2 guys just went to hell and back!!!
ALL OR NOTHING MATCH:
SHAWN MICHAELS VS. JBL:
ok match. like a RAW main event or something, not amazing, but every PPV has to have a mediocre match.
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:
ELIMINATION CHAMBER:
JOHN CENA VS. REY MYSTERIO VS. CHRIS JERICHO VS. KANE VS. MIKE KNOX VS. EDGE
originally kofi kingston was supposed to be entered in this match but the rated R superstar "injured" kingston so edge waltz in the chamber and locked himself in!!! this chamber match is the best with the mixture of technical wrestling, hardcore spots and suicide dives. edge and rey put on a phenomenal show. match of the night!!
GREAT PPV. BEST OF 2009 SO FAR.
2 CHAMBERS, NO HOLDS BARRED ALL OR NOTHING!!!!!!!
BUY IT RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this was a great ppv very entertaining hbk stole the show as usual and the elimenation chambers were great mcmahon orton was a pretty good match the ecw title bout was ok not the greatest but overall really good show totally recomend it
5/5
a great show both world title matches where great with the champs being eliminated early and the surprise of edge entering the raw title match.
Hbk Vs JBL was a very entertaining match.
Overall very good show with some surprises. 9/10 a must buy dvd.
***CONTIENE SPOILER***
No Way Out turned out to be a good PPV in the run up to WrestleMania, and it set up for some good build up to WrestleMania. Here are the Matches:
WWE Championship Elimination Chamber
Edge vs Jeff Hardy vs The Undertaker vs Triple H vs Big Show vs Vladimir Kozlov
First of all, when i was watching this live and this match was first, i was like what the hell i though this would be the main event - but all will come clear as i will talk about. Jeff Hardy and Edge start off in this match and go back and forth for about five minutes. Jeff Hardy hits the Twist of Fate and then misses the Swanton, Edge goes to spear him and gets countered into a roll-up - and gets pinned for the three count! Next in are Kozlov and Big Show - who pretty much just destroy Jeff Hardy for a while - very boring. Then in comes Triple H and shakes the whole thing up. Undertaker then enters the match and finally - someone pins Kozlov! He hits the last ride and gets three. Next to go is Big Show - it take a superplex from the top rope by Undertaker, a pedigree from The Game, and finally a swanton off the top of the pod by Hardy. After this, Hardy is eventually pinned by the Undertaker after a tombstone piledriver. That leaves Triple H and the Undertaker to battle it out for the title. They share a good battle for a while, and each kick out of one another's finishers, but eventually Triple H prevails and becomes champion - for the 13th time.
Shane McMahon vs Randy Orton
A relatively good match, despite Shane not being the best in-ring performer, but some good spots and weapons involved, and of course, the interference from Legacy. Randy pulls an RKO out of nowhere to win the match.
ECW Championship
Jack Swagger vs Finlay
I could have fallen asleep. Sooo boring.
All or Nothing
Shawn Michaels vs JBL
Comared to the previous match, anything could have looked good, but still this was a decent match with some good spots, especially when JBL got slapped by Rebecca Michaels!
And finally...
World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber
John Cena vs Rey Mysterio vs Chris Jericho vs Mike Knox vs Kane vs Kofi Kingston
This is where the WWE Championship match being first makes sense - Edge attacks Kofi during his entrance and steals his spot in the chamber, so basically we all knew that he was going to be the champion at the end of the match. Mysterio and Jericho start off and put together some good spots. Kane is next in the match, and he just decimates Rey and Jericho for a while.Knox is next in, and fortunately it doesn't take long before him and Kane are eliminated. Edge and John Cena enter, Cena lastin for a very short amount of time. Going for the FU on Edge (and yes, i am still gonna call it that cus the other name sucks), Jericho hits a codebreaker on Cena, then Mysterio hits the 619, and finally Edge hits the spear and eliminates Cena, and then looks around in disbelief at what he just did. Jericho is next to go when Mysterio uses the head scissors to roll him up, and that leaves Mysterio and Edge to battle it out - which they do, very entertainingly, with some near falls and quck moves and counters etc. The finish sees Mysterio get thrown through one of the lexon pods, and then when he finally gets back to his feet in the ring, Edge is waiting with the spear and wins the title.
All in all a good, unpredictable PPV that left all of us thinking afterwards - wow, what actually just happened there? Definitely worth the buy for the collection.

So far 2009 has been a great year for the WWE and No Way Out was a great example of that.I stayed up till 4 in the Morning just to watch it and it was superb.
Match 1......Smackdowns Elimination Chamber match (World Title)
Bit shocked that the first match of the night was the best match on paper. But it soon made sense at the end. It was a great match with lots of cool moves. The superstars preformed great and kept you on the edge of your seat. This is a must watch match. 5/5.
Match 2........Orton vs Shane (No Holds Barred Match)
Very physical match that had you glued to the screen. There were some great moments in this match like shane smashing the anounccers table.Overall this is a great match thats worth watching again and again. 4.5/5.
Match 3........Swagger vs Finlay (ECW Title)
Ok match. It was just like a typical ecw match with nothing that special. I wouldn't reccomend you had to watch it but it won't make you smash the disk with dissapointment. 2/5.
Match 4.........HBK vs JBL (All or Nothing Match)
Very exciting back and forth match that is a can't miss.It is one of Shawns most important matches and a very good one at that. Some good moments like Rebecca hitting Jbl and a happy ending that you will enjoy to see. 4/5.
Match 5.........Raws Elimination Chamber (WWE Title)
Very high tempo match with some fantastic and never seen before moves. This is the must watch match of that night that is sure to leave you wanting more. Except the disgraceful ending. But still a great great great match and one of the best of the year so far. 5/5.
Overall a must buy PPV that you will love and watch over and over again.
Possibly the greatest WWE event i have witnessed in a long while. There were no bad matches and with only the ECW title match falling below excellent it turns out to be a great event especially with no diva matches included.
Smackdown WWE Title Elimination Chamber
Edge vs Kozlov vs Big Show vs Jeff Hardy vs Triple H vs The Undertaker
A very very good long match with the definite highlight being the end battle between Triple H and The Undertaker. 5/5
No Holds Barred Match
Shane McMahon vs Randy Orton
Another brilliant match which used the stipulation quite well and a definite highlight in this one is Randy getting busted open the hard way, that's right blood on WWE TV shock horror in these current PG times. 4.5/5
ECW Title Match
Jack Swagger vs Finlay
Not much to say about this other than it was a solid match that suffered from its place on the card having to follow two outstanding big matches and that just meant the crowd just weren't that into it. 2.5/5
All or Nothing Match
JBL vs Shawn Michaels
Even though when the match was first announced i feared that it was going to be too predictable when it came to watching it live it was anything but predictable as they had you double guessing yourself as to who would win especially after JBL hit two clotheslines from hell, but thankfully this matches ending allowed for a classic at WrestleMania to occur. 3.5/5
Raw World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber
John Cena vs Kane vs Chris Jericho vs Mike Knox vs Rey Mysterio vs Edge
This match went from being the most predictable Elimination Chamber in history to a very exciting shocking match with just Edge taking out Kofi Kingston and entering himself in the match. Rey Mysterio was the true highlight of this match bringing his A game to the chamber. Cena being eliminated so quickly was truly shocking a meant for the 2nd time that night we were guaranteed a new champion. 5/5
Overall an outstanding WWE ppv that i recommend to any wrestling fan.
The second chamber match was definetly the highlight for me.
JBL/ Michaels felt predictable.
Couldn't care less about the ECW match.
Shane/Orton was typical shane and very entertaining as was the wwe chamber.
The best pay-per-view so far this year. Wicked twist in the Elimation Chamber match with Edge making history. That's 2 twists out of 2 pay-per-views for WWE this year. What will happen at WrestleMania, I can't wait.
Nothing bemusing about it!! Absolutely stunning PPV and one WWE's best shows in recent memory. The stories told and the action displayed was enthralling from start to finish and the booking was fantastic. All the matches were of a good quality with the two Elimination Chamber bouts being truly excellent. Highly recommended.

***SPOILERS***
A very strange PPV.
That is the only way to descibe No Way Out. Shocking yes, undoutedly so, but a better word is probably bemusing. This PPV only made sense after the next night on Raw when all the strange card positions were explained. Sort of.
WWE Championship Elimination Chamber - Edge (c) V Jeff Hardy V Vladimir Kozlov V The Big Show V Triple H V The Undertaker
It took me some considerably amount of time to calm down about this match being first on the card. Undoubtedly the best match on paper, as soon as The Undertaker's gong sounded (pretty much as soon as the PPV starts) the reveal that the best match was first was enough to irritate me for some time. It also seemed to put the nail in the hideous coffin that the last shot of the PPV would be John Cena holding the World Title after an inevitably boring Chamber match. In the end this wasn't to be the case, and the utterly baffling booking in putting this match first would make some sense by the end of the night. But unfortunately due to my lack of psychic abilities I wasn't to know this at the time and so my judgment of this match is somewhat clouded by my annoyance of the time. Edge and Jeff start off and after 4 minutes Jeff counters a Spear into a rolling cradle to pin Edge and ensure a new WWE Champion. Can someone tell me why Edge beat Jeff at the Rumble simply to lose it soon after? They seem to be doing this alot with Edge lately (think Survivor Series - Armageddon 2008). Vladimir Kozlov a.k.a the most ridiculously pushed wrestler in the business today (yes moreso than Cena) enters next. He's rubbish. They say a good wrestler is one that makes a bad wrestler look good e.g. HBK. Kozlov does the opposite and makes good wrestlers look bad. He's hideously bad and everybody but Vince seems to know it. Big Show enters fourth, Triple H fifth and Taker 6th. Taker soon gets rid of Kozlov with the Last Ride. Very annoyingly they still continue saying Kozlov is undefeated afterwards. Big Show receives the obligatory 'every finisher' elimination. Taker then eliminates Jeff, leaving Taker and Trips to battle for the now vacant WWE Title. Both hit their respective finishers with the inability to get the pin before Triple H hits a second Pedigree to pick up his 13th Heavyweight Title. In doing this he beat The Rock's record of 7 WWE Titles and got to 3 away from Ric Flair's all time title record. I doubt anyone's betting against Hunter to beat it.
4/5
No Holds Barred - Randy Orton V Shane McMahon
OK so the ridiculous position of the best match on the card is sort of explained in the end. This matches ridiculous position of 2nd on the card is not. A really flimsy explanation given on Raw the next night tries to but fails miserably. This is the 2nd best match on the card and is on 2nd. Maybe they decided to book the card backwards. Anyway a routine match involving a non-wrestler, that being it's given the stipulation of No Holds Barred. Randy is tainted somewhat by the constant help of Legacy however he's a heel and so it must happen. In all honesty the better match is the Unsanctioned fight the next night on Raw, in which Randy punts Shane and RKO's Stephanie to set up an inevitable match with new WWE Champion Triple H at Wrestlemania. This match however sticks firmly in the 'good' category.
3/5
ECW Championship - Jack Swagger (c) V Finlay
I'll keep this short, kind of like the match itself. No one thought Finlay would win it. Swagger is obviously on his way to face Christian at Mania. And so no one is into this match that in all honesty should have been the opener to get it out of the way with. Only two things remotely interesting about this match - 1. The unfindable reason as to why it was ahead of the Orton-Shane match and 2. A subtle hint that Finlay and Hornswoggle may be growing apart. Which is a good thing, imagne the heat Finlay would get if he turned on little Horny.
2/5
All or Nothing Match - Shawn Michaels V JBL
The stipulation was that if Shawn lost all the rights to his name and person would go to JBL, if he won then he would be released with full pay from JBL. Due to stipulations like this we know who's going to win. Again very few highlights, too many mentions of Shawn's wife Rebecca only made less annoying when Rebecca legitimately smacks JBL in the eye. It' a good shot and well worth watching. Shawn hits Sweet Chin Music to get the pin and start a lengthy celebration with his wife (who is absolutely gorgeous but also very orange).
3/5
World Heavyweight Championship - John Cena (c) V Rey Mysterio V Chris Jericho V Kane V Mike Knox V Edge
Yes that isn't a typo that is Edge on the end of that list. Irate from his 4 minute Championship loss in the opening Chamber, Edge assaults Kofi Kingston as Kingston is making his entrance and delivers a ConChairTo to Kofi on the steel steps leading to the Chamber. He then shuts himself in one of the pods and refuses to come out. Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole make out like he runs in to avoid Rey Mysterio who has run down to avenge his fallen Jamaican friend. They speak rubbish, as is the usual. Edge has actually just put himself intothis match. It would be revealed the next night that due to Stephanie accompanying Shane to a nearby hospital after his match with Randy Orton, Vickie Guerrero (possibly the most hated person in all of the WWE despite never attacking a face - the slap to Taker back at Unforgiven withstanding, never stepping in the ring, and having been assaulted on multiple occassions) is the highest standing person in control and so she put Edge in the World Title Chamber; giving the weak reasoning behind the two best matches being the first two matches. And so the match starts with Edge included. Rey and Jericho put on a good start before Kane enters. No surprise that Kane is eliminated first. Mike Knox, who by my best guess is actually called Monstrous Mike Knox due to this always being what Michael Cole calls him (seriously I don't think I've ever heard him call Mike Knox Mike Knox without there being a Monstrous in front), enters next and soon after is eliminated. John Cena enters fifth, and gives the usual routine before Edge's pod opens. Cena is then the recipient of a Codebreaker, 619 and Spear and is eliminated. I woke up the rest of my house celebrating, cheering 'Yes!' at the top of my lungs. This ensured a new World Champion and it now looked painfully obvious as to who it would be. And so it would come to pass that Jericho would be eliminated as would Rey, as Edge shocks the WWE world in becoming World Heavyweight Champion. The match itself is, to be honest, not great but the result is simply brilliant.
4/5
And so once again both the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship change hands on the same PPV. This used to be a rare occurence, having only happened 3 times in 6 and a half years before Survivor Series and so it begs the question - will it happen at Mania? It looks like we have at least 5 matches set - Shawn vs Taker, Christian vs Swagger for the ECW Title, Jeff vs Matt, Edge vs Cena for the WHC (haven't we seen this before though) and Orton vs Triple H for the WWE Title. Pretty good Mania if you ask me. And that's coming off the heels of a pretty good No Way Out.
No Way Out 2009 - 8/10 or 4/5
an incredible ppv 5/5 it was amazing and some of the things that happened were so unexpected i cant wait for wrestlemania i will definately buy this dvd closer to may of course
No way out 2009 features three title matches,no diva matches and two of the titles are contested in an alimination chamber, awesome sounding?,you bet, this show gets on with it and doesnt waste any time,a really good pay per view.
That was one of the BEST No Way Out PPV ever!
The two Elimination Chamber matches was Class!
This PPV was for me 10/10.......

This review contains SPOILERS!!!!
Like last months royal rumble event i have been pleasantly surprised by the clever booking of the WWE. when hardy rolled up edge the first thing i thought was the champ is never eliminated first in the chamber let alone in the match but once the 3 count happened and the audience popped...wow!!
The chamber match itself was incredible. i can just say near enough everyone was exceptional in the match(Kozlov looked awkward as usual but, oh well). i was a little dissappointed by the winner but the finish was incredible!
The mcmahon street fight was overhyped to me. i thought the fact that shane was allowed to look dominant on the raw after the rumble was silly. three proper wrestlers had to take the worst worked punches by a not even a part time wrestler.
The michaels jbl match was decent.. wasn't expecting the clean finish. good match.
The ecw title bout was so so. alot of the fans in attendance were chanting 'we want christian' much like the rumble and rightly so. the wwe blundered his comeback by having hardy be the guy who had been assaulting the other hardy. i have no proof of this but it's all there to see that this storyline was gonna be for christian untill the fans got word of it and they changed the plans. i imagine they will have something decent planned for wm25 like him defeating swagger for the title but even just having him on the card somewhere would have been fine.
The last elimination match was good, too, but not on par with the first. and jeff's elimination was quite a letdown for me.
kane and knox didn't need to be in there. kane in particular.. his star isn't as bright as it used to be and he seems quite slow in the ring. I liked the fact that there was a sign that was visible saying 'Spoiler: Cena Wins' but thanks to some brilliant booking that i pointed out earlier..well don't want to spoil it. i must say although 2008's wwe ppv offering have been highly rated i haven't been gripped by a ppv like this for a long time. i hope this event get's a blu ray release and certainly hope wwe isn't just looking to put 'The big four' on blu ray.
A+ PPV
