I LOVE all the matches on here -- the best hell in a cell boxset ever!!! :)
!The Greatest HELL IN A CELL matches of all time!
A Great dvd box for all new fans. The Hell in a Cell match has provided wrestling fans with some unforgettable memories and it is the one match that you can guarantee that there will be blood. So this is not for children and therfore it`s rated for 18 years.
Almost every match includes either Triple H or The Undertaker and a funny fact this is actually better than Triple H`s own King of Kings dvd.
Only significant HIAC match that is missing is Edge vs `Taker from Summerslam 2008 but you can`t get it all=(
So those pro wrestling fans that are out to find the most hardcore matches that the WWE has to offer, you can stop looking.
In my opinion this is perhaps the best WWE dvd that is out there.
Bloody brilliant with 2 HIAC from RAW haha

Wow.
I adore this DVD, its beyond amazing =D
Amazing match selection.
Mick Foley hosts the presentation and he starts off the program by giving a brief back story on why and how the Hell in a Cell Match came to be. The Hell In A Cell Matches that are not included in this set are Undertaker Vs. Big Bossman from Wrestlemania XV, Kennel in a Cell Match: Al Snow Vs. Big Bossman from Unforgiven 1999, & Undertaker Vs. Edge from SummerSlam 2008.
Bad Blood (October 5, 1997)
Undertaker Vs. European Champion Shawn Michaels - In the HIAC's debut match, Michaels and Undertaker sets the bar for future HIAC matches to come. Undertaker just really dominates HBK for mostly all the match. Once the two made their way out of the cell, Undertaker and Michaels would just fight each other around and on top of the cell. Michaels soon falls from the side of the cage & through the announce table after trying to escape from the Underaker. After Kane makes his debut and Tombstones the Undertaker, HBK becomes victorious in the first Hell In A Cell Match. This match is something to see if already haven't. 5/5
Raw (June 15, 1998)
Kane & Mankind w/ Paul Bearer Vs. WWE Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin & Undertaker - This was more of a segment than anything else. Stone Cold leads Mankind and Kane outside the cell to leave the Undertaker and Paul Bearer all alone inside the locked structure. Inside the locked structure, Undertaker just beats the holy hell out of a bloody Paul Bearer while leaving Stone Cold fighting Kane and Mankind on the outside. Kane trys to climb the cell to get in before Austin meets him up there. They do not show us the after math once Raw went off the air and it aint really worth rating.
King Of The Ring (June 28, 1998)
Undertaker Vs. Mankind - This is probably the most known and memorable Hell in a Cell match of all-time and mainly because of Mankind being thrown off the cell. After being chokeslammed and thrown off the cell, Mankind and Undertaker delivers a pretty brutal match. Thumb tacks, steel steps, and chairs all gets involved. After being chokslammed onto thumb tacks, Undertaker Tombstones Mankind to pick up his first ever Hell In A Cell victory. Foley certainly gets a well deserved standing ovation after the match. 5/5
Raw (August 24, 1998)
Mankind Vs. Kane - Just like the match from King Of The Ring, Kane and Mankind starts this match off on the outside where Foley gets beaten up by both Kane and the Undertaker and also falls from the cell through the announce table. Kane and Mankind both takes some hard chair shots to the head. Thumb tacks also gets brought into this match. After Stone Cold Steve Austin interferes from under the ring, the match gets stopped. A match that's worth a watch. 4/5
No Way Out (February 27, 2000)
WWE Champion Triple H Vs. Cactus Jack - Not only was this match for HHH's WWE Title but Mick Foley's career was also in jeopardy if Mick Foley lost this match. The match itself was just as brutal and punishable as Foley's & HHH's Street Fight was from the Royal Rumble a month earlier. After Foley and the Game got out of the cell, the match would only get more violent around and on top of the cell. After once again falling from the cell and through the announce table, Foley brings out his famous barbed wire 2x4 and sets it on fire. After setting the 2x4 on fire, Foley gets backdropped through the cell and crashes through the ring followed by a Pedigree from HHH. Just like from the KOTR, Mick Foley gets a well deserved ovation after the match. And for the trivia buffs out there this is the first Hell in a Cell match where a WWE Title was defended in. 5/5
Armageddon (December 20, 2000)
Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. WWE Champion Kurt Angle Vs. Triple H Vs. The Rock Vs. Rikishi Vs. The Undertaker - This has to be the wildest, craziest, & most action packed HIAC match of all time. There is action everywhere in this match. McMahon comes out and frees everybody from the cell and then all hell breaks loose everywhere. We even see a Wrestlemania X-Seven preview from Austin and the Rock. This was just a huge and tremendous match. Awesome Hell in a Cell match. 5/5
Judgment Day (May 19, 2002)
Triple H Vs. Chris Jericho - HHH and Jericho by far made up for their lousy match they had at Wrestlemania X8. Jericho takes one of the most brutal beatings ever inside a Hell in the Cell Match. Jericho tried to be tough but I think the cell got to him in this match. A ladder gets briefly used along with a steel chair, ring steps, & a sledgehammer. After being let loose, Triple H & Jericho battles all around the cell and soon make their way on top where HHH brings up with him a barbed wire 2x4. The match ends on top of the cell after Jericho gets Pedigreed by HHH. Watch out for Tim White getting up close and personal to the cell. 4.5/5
No Mercy (October 20, 2002)
WWE Champion Brock Lesnar Vs. Undertaker - Get ready to see a bloodbath because that is exactly what this HIAC Match is. Undertaker & Brock Lesnar shows everybody how violent & sedistic a Hell in the Cell Match can be. Just as brutal and sedistic fighting only inside the cell and not out. Undertaker bleed buckets in this match. Lesnar & Undertaker both uses the cell and other things around them very effectively on each other. Possibably the best Hell In A Cell Match in history. 5/5
Bad Blood (June 15, 2003)
Kevin Nash Vs. World Heavyweight Champion Triple H - Kevin Nash wasn't really getting over with the fans as WWE thought he would so they brought in Mick Foley to be the Special Guest Referee for this HIAC match. This isn't as bad as people say it is. I felt this HIAC is very violent and brutal. All men bleeds in this one including Foley. Not the best Hell in a Cell Match but definitely not the worst. 4/5
Bad Blood (June 13, 2004)
Triple H Vs. Shawn Michaels - You better get ready to take a deep seat because Michaels and HHH tears each other to shreds for nearly one hour in the sedistic Hell In a Cell. HBK and HHH both takes a lot of punishment and a bloody beating from each other. This was a fantastic way to end this feud. Arguably the best Hell in a Cell match ever. This match was just off the charts. 5/5
Vengeance (June 26, 2005)
World Heavyweight Champion Batista Vs. Triple H - HHH and Batista told anincredible story here in this HIAC match. HHH is a guy that brings out the best in Batista and HHH did an fantastic job here in doing so. Everything you expect in a Hell in the Cell match and more takes place. Batista gets very physical in this match. He uses everything HHH brings out against him and more. This is a sedistic match where HHH has to take time off from afterwards. This HIAC match could also be the best ever. 5/5
Armageddon (December 18, 2005)
Undertaker Vs. Randy Orton - Other reviewers point out that this HIAC match resembles more of a No Holds Barred than a true Hell in the Cell Match but I disagree with that. Undertaker and Orton provided the fans a sedistic and a very harsh match to watch. A lot of physicality is apart of this HIAC match. Orton pulls off some impressive counters to the Undertaker. Orton also takes one of the most vicious beatings from the Deadman along with two of the most hardest steel chair shots I have ever seen. A table gets introduced as well and so does some steel steps in this match. The interference from Bob Orton wasn't really needed but I felt this Hell in a Cell match was great. Another big time HIAC match. 5/5
Unforgiven (September 17, 2006)
Triple H & Shawn Michaels Vs. Vince, Shane McMahon, & ECW Champion Big Show - A new Hell In A Cell structure was introduced for this match. Great usage with the cell and the weapons that were used such as a sledgehammer & steel chairs are used very effectively in this HIAC match. It has a vicious and sickening ending with HHH breaking a sledgehammer on the back on Mr. McMahon. This is another hellacious match. 5/5
Survivor Series (November 18, 2007)
Undertaker Vs. World Heavyweight Champion Batista - The new amplified version of the Hell In A Cell continued here as the Undertaker & Batista ended their nealry year long feud. Undertaker is another guy that brings out the best in Batista and this was a tremendous match. Not a whole lot of weapons used but the ones that were, Undertaker & Batista uses them very effectively. They could have used the cell more but it was still good. The ending and the post-match beat down from Edge is something to check out and it really added more to the match. 5/5
I got it from my brother for my birthday and watched it in three days lol

Hell in a cell, WWE's way of settling differences between the best superstars in the world for over 15 years now, watch all the hell in a cell matches ever taken place, the only one missing is last years summerslam main event undertaker v edge, due to it being released before that took place. i was glued to this dvd, absolutelt incredible start to finish, you really get to grips with what the superstars put their bodies through for the sake of entertainment. wow, what an amazing 3 disc set!! I got this as a christmas present and me, my brother and my two cousins watched it, my cousin used to watch wrestling when the rock and stone cold wrestled, and he remembered some of these matches, all of us enjoyed all of the matches. Overall, this was an excellent dvd and christmas present, we sat throw some of the matches with our eyes wide in amazment
Delivered this morning and i've watched the first disc
Awesome.
The package is great, footage is great, Mick Foley, well you couldnt have a more appropriate presenter! Only drawback from the footage is how the turnbuckles/ring apron/t shirts have to be blurred for the WWE copyright purposes but hey, that cant be helped!
Particularly enjoyed the Cactus/HHH match, one of my personal favourites that brought back a few memories! Cant wait to get started on the other discs, highly recommended just for the first! A great buy!

Just going to be a short review.
The Front cover is great i love how it has all different pictures in it. I also like how that Cell part sticks up.
But i do not like the litle slip cover that it has. I would rather have the normal ones with the slot in the side. it is much better.
Moving onto the discs. I love them the way they look is great and what is actually on them its awesome.
One bad point is the censorship in it. And how they changed the commentry on Triple H vs Shawn Michaels when they have the chair.
And How they do not have the Undertaker V Big Boss Man on it but i suppose they have their resons for not having it on.
But 4/5 overall

when i first watched the taker mankind match it blew me away at howmuch more exciting the attitude era was. i will list my favourite matches:
DX vs the mcmahons and the b show. simply because of the but kissing bit and the fact its DX
Taker vs michaels as it was a good solid performance and a representation of the standard of wrestling back then
HHH vs cactus because of the huge dent left in the ring and HHHs face when he sent cactus through the cell
Taker vs mankind because of the great moments in that match.
My highlights would be mankind going through the table several times. the cut Taker rcieved in his lesnar match and the ultimate ass kiss from DX.
If u r looking or violence ,brutality, hardcore,a triple h and undertaker showcase and the greatest ever but kiss this is or you. And if not (as DX would say) i got two words for ya

C'est un tr?s bon DVD. Il retrace correctement l'histoire des matchs Hell In a Cell. Il est super sanglant et violent. Un pure r?gal!!!
First things first, the packaging. The front cover is a nice little montage of a few pictures from past Hell in a Cell matches. The cases themselevs are good, they do their job perfectly (unlike the discrepancies I've been hearing people have about other DVD releases in crappy cardboard slots). If you were one of the first 2000 to order, you will have recieved a "Limited Edition" set. Despite the fact that it's nice to have your own individually numbered set, the "limited edition" only extends to slipping a slipcover over the case itself, putting a little bit of embossing on it, and removing (!?) the match listings from the back. Any possible bonus marks this set would've achieved by being a "limited edition" are soon taken back for the packaging being so...well, crappy.
Onto the discs themselves. The first covers Hell in a Cell matches from 1997-2000. It's the best one of the bunch, and features the first ever Cell match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels; the now-infamous Undertaker/Mick Foley showdown; and the Armageddon Hell in a Cell featuring 5 of the WWE's top players in late 2000 (and Rikishi). Every match on this is a stellar encounter, but one minor flaw reduces my view of it.
Only one Hell in a Cell match is missing from this set (if you exclude, and rightly so, the 'Kennel from Hell' from Unforgiven 1999). The match between The Undertaker and the late Big Bossman from WrestleMania XV. I'm unsure whether the match was excluded because of the 'Bossman hanging' scene (an amazing spectacle), but this one short match's little absence means that the set is not, nor can it be referred to as, The Complete Collection.
Disc 2 deals with 2002-2004 (there was no HIAC matches in 2001). It starts strong with the HHH/Y2J match from Judgment Day 2002, a match which was a cut above their one at WrestleMania X-8. Undertaker/Brock Lesnar is next, and, while the match is OK, I personally feel that at this point HIAC matches had changed from a momentous occasion, guaranteed to have something major, to a glorified street fight. HHH/Nash and HHH/Michaels follows this hypothesis, although the Nash match from 2003 is a lot better than I remember it.
Disc 3 is from 2005 to the present day. If you apply my above hypothesis to this disc (that makes me sound intelligent) and see them as hardcore matches, then HHH/Batista is above average. Undertaker/Orton is only notable for the fact that Bob Orton had Hepatitis B and was allowed to bleed freely in the match. DX vs The McMahons and Big Show is the first time the new taller cell rears its head, and I, for one, hate it (it's like any hope of another stunt off of the roof has forever been destroyed). For a match that was built out of what was essentially the comic relief of 2006 WWE, it's mildly entertaining. Finally, the match between Batista and Undertaker, the last match on the disc, hovers painfully around the 'average' mark, and if it hadn't have been for the SummerSlam 2008 match between Edge and 'Taker (not included on this collection), Hell in a Cell matches, for me, would have been missable.
Another minor grievance I have with this set is the censorship of the discs. It appears that, when going through blurring out all the instances of the letter 'F', the editors have decided to cut all swearing and blur all middle fingers from the crowd. Since disc 1 deals with Attitude Era WWE, you can tell how much of a pain that is. Also edited is every choking scene from the matches. Instead, whenever a superstar has another over the ropes by the neck, the disc cuts to the (zoomed out) hard camera. On the plus side, however, the build-up videos before the match are a great touch, and really help you get into the mood.
I'd really like to give this set 5/5. However, all the little niggles (crappy packaging, stupid edits, etc) mean I could only ever give this set 3.

Wow, it was my birthday on the 11th and I just couldn't wait to watch this.
Disc 1 -
Undertaker Vs. Shawn Michaels. Wow... this is so overrated. In the first fifteen minutes, they're on the floor for at least ten of them. The ending was good for two reasons. One - Kane makes the coolest debut ever in WWE/WWF, second being the match is over. But I gotta say, Shawn takes a pretty good looking dive half way down the cage. They do put up a solid performance overall though.
4/5, a good start.
Could I just mention that Mick Foley is the best and he hosts this DVD to make it even better than it already is.
Next the tag team match. By the way, I was just thinking that we'd never get a Hell in a Cell match on Raw now, we're lucky to get on every year. This match doesn't finish because Paul Bearer kind of ruins it but it is fun and exciting.
3/5, this should have been finished but it was good while it happened.
'Taker Vs. Mankind is, in my mind, one of the best ever matches. Sure, it's not a techical brilliant match like you'd see from Shawn Michaels but it's too brawlers who go out and try and throw the other person off the cell making it look cool while making it as pain free as possible. Good eh? Anways, if you do not know what happens to Mick Foley in this match, I seriously think you should either go to a doctor or buy this disc. They keep showing replays of the hardcore stuff and I could watch them all day. Seriously, this is like a match that you would do if you were suicidal. How they are even alive after that match is a very big question.
5/5, easy the most hardcore match that's not on ECW.
Mankind Vs. Kane is good too, two of my all time favourite wrestlers battling in a cage.
3.5/5.
Triple H Vs. Cactus Jack next and this is very extreme. They go to the top and use barbed wire baseball bat then Cactus slams off the cell, and gets back up, then gets smashed through it, then goes through the ring then takes a massive beating. Yet another amazing Mick Foley match. Have a nice day! Oh yeah, and when Cactus falls of the cell it looks so planned! He jumps off!
4/5.
And there's no better way to end this disc than to end it with the underrated six-man Hell in a Cell match. There's lots of cars used in this match btw. I seriously wasn't expecting Angle to retain. Then there's Rikishi taking a little dive off the cell onto McMahon's truck. Lots of memorable spots in this match but you just have to give credit to Rikishi for going off the cell. His clothes are the best clothes ever. (Yeah, I'm just kidding).
4.5/5.
Overall disc rating: 9/10, easy the best disc in the set. This is probably the best disc alone that WWE has made.
Disc 2 now and things look good.
Next HHH Vs. Y2J. HHH! Referee Tim White suffers a serious injury during this match. So severe, he never took part in a match again. Not in WWE anyway. This really isn't a very good match and there's nothing that will be remembered but Tim White's injury. Hope you ok, Timmy and best of luck!
3/5.
Undertaker has a match against the next big thing Lesnar. This match goes down as one of the best Cell matches ever. Although I hated 'Takers gimmick at the time this was actually really good. At least there was no time waisting cheesy sit ups or running around the ring in fear by Lesnar, they just go at it and but on a fantastic performance. There was no going on the top of the cell in this match, and there never has been since the Y2J-HHH match so sadly, we don't see any cool dives of the cell and that stuff.
4.5/5.
I began to feel a little bit ill after this match so I came home from my dad's and went to mum's.
I fell asleep during the Nash match because I was a bit ill but in the begining, it was hardcore but terribly boring and from what people have said, it was the worst Cell match ever but I won't rate this.
Now, Michaels Vs. HHH and they start slow and stay slow all the way through and I don't really like matches like the but this is good and it is very extreme too. I think this will go down as a very good match and these are my first and third favourite wrestlers but this just didn't work for me.
3.5/5.
Overall disc rating: 6.5/10, surprisingly, a rather dissapointing disc considering in three of the matches, it has my favourite wrestler (and second and third favourite in other matches).
Disc 3
Triple H faces Batista in one brutal, unpredicatble big man brawl. Up to now, 'The Celeberal Assasin' had never lost a Hell in a Cell match. In this match, we see a really cool looking spinebuster on some steps by Batista and lots more memorable spots. 'The Game' and Batista, the two ex-Evoulution team-mates are two of my favourite wrestlers. HHH, for the first time, lost the Hell in a Cell and (sadly) didn't win the World Heavyweight belt. These two put up a great show as they usually do.
4.5/5.
Next we see Undertaker take on the young weirdo, Randy Orton who uses way too much hair gel. Anyways, good solid action and lots of blood (yep, as usual). Not as memorable as some others, but still has a few good spots (including Randy Orton reversing a Tombstone into his own strange looking Tombstone). Bob gets some blood on him too and becomes physically involved.
4/5.
D-X, the rude, fan favourites, winners of nearly every match and my first and third favourite wrestlers (as you've probably figured by now) faced the massive, tired looking baggy eyed after every match lasting over 5 minutes monster of Big Show and the cocky McMahons. Eww... Mr.McMahon joined his own club in this match. He kissed Big Shows car sized crack (let's hope there was no poo there). Brilliant. Pure prilliant. Bloody, sledge hammers, Pedigrees, Sweet Chin Musics all of my favourite things fitted into one match. Funny, hardcore and fantastic fast-paced wrestling (yeah, even Big Slow does alright)!
5/5!
You know, I can't remember anything about Undertaker Vs. Batista. It wasn't so good but I am
70% sure that 'Taker won. won't rate this 'cause I can't remember much about it.
Overall disc rating: one average match, one good one and two absolutely fantastic ones - 8/10!

This is one HELL of a DVD, brutal is not the word, the best is the Handicap match with DX and the McMahons and the Big Show. But that is soon followed by the 6 man hell in a cell which was great, just sad that The Rock was only ever in one of them :(
If u like the WWE this is the must see DVD!!!!!
