Its not that bad
sabu taken out was bad enough but the undercard compared to the main event was terrible. the main event was alright and so was the opener with the hardys and mnm.
if sabu was in the main event, it would of been a bit better but not much.
paul heyman would be and probably is ashamed

This was not the Best WWE PPV and could quite possibly be the worse the 2 stars are for the MNM vs. Hardys tag team match and the Chamber match. This was not an ECW PPV it was a WWEECW PPV and that should say it all!

I brought this PPV because I went through a phase of wanting to own every elimination chamber match. It is definately the worst PPV I have ever owned. The only half decent match is the hardyz vs MNM but that isnt enough to save it. Please dont be as stupid as I was by thinking "wow, a hardcore elimination chamber match. That must be good!" and buying it without reading any reviews. The elimination chamber match is completely awful and the entire PPV is a total waste of money.
An ECW PPV with one match including weapons. Not even Paul seemd completely into the plan for this. My personal opinion is that the main event shouldn't have been inside an Elimination Chamber at all - it should have been a sixpack challange with no holds barred.
The star belongs solely to the opener - Hardys vs MNM. Really good tag-match. A bonus is to watch Ariel 'cause, well, I think she's hot and I liked the vampire gimmic. But to be fair - only buy this when they almost throw it at You. There is so many good PPVs in Silvervisions collection so don't waste money on this one.

ECW December To Dismember
This was the last ECW PPV before ECW became an official brand in the WWE.
1. The Hardys vs MNM
This was a great tag team contest that went back and forth with a speed and all impact display of wrestling. Both teams tried really hard and it sure paid off as this was the match of the night and a fantastic opening contest. 4/5
2. Strikers Rules
Matt Striker vs Balls Mahoney
Not a diabolical contest but really an uninteresting affair that was very average and did not have too much positive going for it. Extremely forgettable. 2/5
3. Elijah Burke and Sylvester Terkay vs The F.B.I
A low blow to ECW fans that this contest was really dull, despite The F.B.I being involved. I can barely even remember the contest it was that unmemorable. To say this was Terkay's PPV debut and his last it is not hard to see why. A very badly booked and worked match. 1/5
4. Tommy Dreamer vs Davari
This was bad, no really bad. A PPV match that should not have even taken place and the fact Dreamer was injured so easily afterwards it just seemed sarcastic to his legacy in ECW. I am getting repetetive but this was again so forgettable and the fans were not happy with the outcome. 1/5
5. Knox and Kelly Kelly vs Ariel and Kevin Thorn
This is a testement to how bad the PPV is the match just drifted aimlessly along with no interest from the fans and really another contst which could just have easily not taken place. Dull, plodding and boring. The fact Sandman interfeared afterward and got the biggest crowd pop of the contest is testiment to how dreary this whole match and PPV had become.
6. ECW Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber Match
Big Show vs RVD vs Lashley vs CM Punk vs Test vs Sabu?
*SPOILER* The most dissapointing contest of the night, earlier Sabu had been mysteriously attacked? and had to be sent to hospital (Not extreme anymore? what is the deal?) then he was replaced by Hardcore Holly - immediately creating fan hatred. This was the worst elimination chamber match in WWE history, the wrestling was not bad but there were little stand-out moments and the weaponry aspect did not work very well. Also some of the best wrestlers were eliminated early on and fans at points did not seem interested at certain points. So the match was not as awful as some of the contest but was sloppy and badly booked. 2/5
Quite possibly the worst PPV of all time, really it was that bad only one match was good and that was the opener. Your money could be spent much better elsewhere and I would only advise the first match to anyone - bottom line completists need only apply.
Un dvd per niente bello, nonostante il main event prometteva quantomeno di essere interessante:
Extreme Elimination Chamber Match
Big Show vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Lashley vs. CM Punk vs. Test vs. Sabu
Un dvd che consiglio di acquistare solo per chi veramente collezionista!

A very dissapointing DVD.
All the matches were slow paced excluding the hardys vs mnm.
I mean who wants to see Tommy Dreamer vs Davari at a PPV.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they want to own ECW's final PPV if you dont - stay well clear

December To Dismember was the final WWE pay-per-view under the ECW banner, not exactly the finest moment in the history of ECW,2 reasons to take this dvd. 1. mnm vs hardys 2.elimination chamber only if you want colecting all ppvs that contain this event.
Out of all the pay per views that have been produced under the wwe banner, this has to be the worst of them all. I remember watching at the time and seeing what they actually do with it having only announced two matches for the show and they did nothing. A very good tag team match to open the show but thats it, the rest werent even matches which should have ever been allowed to go on ppv.
A very rushed, badly booked ppv and even the main event was predictable as hell
So this is probably worth buying for one reason, and one day i will come up with the reason
MATCH OF THE NIGHT - Hardys vs. MNM
WORST MATCH OF THE NIGHT - THE REST
PPV RATING - DUD
Well, what can I say, its an ok event. Seeming that its ecw you expect extreme, there wasent alot, the only match that was extreme was the elimination chamber which was very extreme, but I still think that the other matches could of been improved, I suppose after the khali vs, dreamer match dreamer gets a khali bomb on the steel ramp, exept from them momments the night wasent that good, Not that good, wortrh the money 7/10
December To Dismember was the final WWE pay-per-view advertised under the ECW banner, and was the 4th from final ever single brand event promoted by the company. A controversial night from Augusta, GA, and not exactly the finest moment in the history of ECW, Original or Vince McMahon's version.
DTD is notorious for being the PPV with the lowest buy-rate in WWE, just 90,000 buys (55,000 in the U.S), and if you've watched the event, you'll know why! Prior to the show taking place, only 2 matches were advertised to promote the PPV, the opening tag team match, and the Elimination Chamber main-event. Those of us who watched on the night were hoping that WWE would pull something out of the bag with a handful of exciting, interpromotional "bonus bouts", but sadly, DTD couldn't even live up what little hype WWE even bothered to give it to begin with.
The opening contest, the pre-advertised tag team encounter pitting the Hardyz vs. MNM, was the best match of the evening. A fast-paced, exciting match featuring, at that point in time, representatives of Raw and SmackDown, and was, at that point, the first proper tag team reunion of Matt and Jeff Hardy on pay-per-view in a good few years.
After that, December To Dismember began to fall apart. The live crowd savagely turned on what they were given: a glorified ECW/WWE Job Squad house show, only a house show probably would have been more exciting and promoted better. Balls Mahoney vs. Matt Striker was the pits, nobody cared about the FBI going up against Sylvester Terkay and Elijah Burke, and Daivari, with future World Champion The Great Khali in his corner, managed to alienate any Original ECW faithful in the crowd watching by pinning former Extreme Champion Tommy Dreamer.
The penultimate match of DTD, where Kevin Thorn and Ariel defeated Mike Knox and Kelly Kelly, was possibly the worst match in pro-wrestling in 2006. At least we had the Chamber to finish the night on a high, right? Hardly. While the 6-man match for the ECW Championship wasn't dreadful, the way it was booked meant it has gone down in history as the worst Elimination Chamber bout in WWE history. Fans in attendance and at home obviously wanted either the undefeated CM Punk or long-time Extreme babyface Rob Van Dam to win, yet they were eliminated first and third respectively. Another ECW Original, Sabu, had been replaced in the match earlier in the night by Hardcore Holly due to a phoney injury angle, which meant that 'The Whole F`n Show' was the only "proper" ECW Superstar involved. Test made up the numbers, but lastest longer than Punk, Holly and Van Dam.
In the end, Vince McMahon's next big thing Bobby Lashley picked up the win in an average, rushed match and the title when he finally eliminated defending champion The Big Show. It's been rumoured that, after the match ended (about half an hour before most WWE PPVs finish, another slap in the face to the paying customer), many in the Augusta crowd, including RVD's wife Sonia, turned their backs on the celebrating new champion. December To Dismember was a miserable night, nothing like ECW events that preceeded it, even worse than some of the dire WCW PPVs that Vince and his family have probably sat and laughed at over the years, and probably the big factor in the company deciding to axe single-brand events from Backlash 2007 onwards.
ECW booker and on-screen representative Paul Heyman left WWE under mysterious circumstances following the DTD debacle. It's still unclear whether he was angry with McMahon at the booking being changed, or McMahon was annoyed with Heyman because the third brand had been failing for months now. But Paul E.has since stated that DTD was so far removed from his own vision of what ECW should be, he knew the writing was on the wall for him and "his" promotion that very night.
I'm afraid, despite both watching the live event on Sky Sports AND buying the DVD from Silver Vision, I can't recommend December To Dismember at all. Add it to your collections, by all means, but it really was as bad as what everyone said it was. Miserable, boring, with only one truly great match, and pretty much nothing else worth watching after it. Buy this pay-per-view, if you want to learn how NOT to book a pro-wrestling supercard.
