This set of two dvd's were absolutely amazing. Being able to see all these classic segments and matches brought back a hell of a lot of memories, and also allowed me to see a few segments before even the days I watched wrestling.

The first dvd I would consider more gimmicky, in the sense you will see the growth of famous groups D-Generation X, and see the amazing evolution of Stone Cold, between him and Mcmahon. It's incredibly funny, jaw-gripping, and on-the-edge of your seat captivating.

The second DVD shows more match-ups, as this could quite frankly be the dawn of a new era, that being the famous Attitude Era. Just amazing being able to watch all these old match-ups in amazing quality [HDTV you have nothing on this Gold].

Overall, as I'm an avid fan of the world of wrestling, this DVD with two RAW volumes, was a culmination of all things that made wrestling such a great sport.
The excitement will rush through your veins being able to watch these memorable occasions in such great quality, and I would highly recommend.

A well deserved, 5 star rating.

P.S. If you're reading this review, that's good, because you should realise how good of a bargain this is. Now don't hesitate, go buy it now, you won't be disappointed :D

This is totally worth it to have from the brilliant times of the attitude era when wrestling and wwe was at it's absolute best.

Volume 1

The funniest part has to be the DX angles. It covers the birth of the new DX, it covers everything concerning DX. Cactus Jack & Terry Funk VS New Age Outlaws, and when the new DX was born. It is very funny when DX wage the war on The Nation by mocking them, HHH as The Rock, Road Dogg and D%u2019lo very funny. With all due respect to Owen Hart its very funny when Jason Sensation impersonates him. Ver funny stuff. The worst part in the video is Val Venis VS Kaienti. Purely because it is so stupid. The basis is Val is having an affair with the lead member of Kaienti and he battles them.

Volume 2

The best bits in the video is the action leading up to Wrestlemania XV, when Stone Cold VS The Rock and the whole destruction of Mr McMahons corporate empire. A really good and very funny part is when Vince trains to be in the Royal Rumble of 1999. The video covers all the Austin VS McMahon events including the Beer truck incident. The Austin McMahon feud carries on into the later part of the video when McMahon forms the Corporate Ministry and Austin is the thorn in McMahon's side. Another very good section of the video is the Mankind VS Rock feuds. It is well covered, highlighting all the great matches they've had including, PPV matches and the half time heat match. But whats better than these two greats fighting each other? When The Rock and Mankind team up it is truly a great storyline and very funny. Both Foley and Rocky have the comedy and the wrestling skills. The Rock and Sock Connection is truly of the most unlikely but very entertaining teams to ever grace the WWF ring.

Quite good.. I was just expecting to find what I've been looking for in every other back in time RAW DVD - the Heart Break Kid becoming commssioner, screwing DX, joining the Corporation, being fired from Vin-Man n then gettin the beats though that is after having set-up his STONE COLD surprise for Vin-Man and the Corporation!

This is a fantastic 2-disc set for fans of the Attitude Era. It's definitely a must-buy for anyone who, like myself, was a teenager in 1998 and enjoyed the sharp change in tone in the WWE.

While I think that younger fans might not 'get it' (get it? The Attitude tagline!) - in fact, some of it might not even be suitable for younger fans - those who were present in those days will really appreciate watching this. Although mostly highlights (almost every extra feature on Volume 2 is a match, however) this served as a reminder for me, of what happened in those exciting years and what the WWE looked and felt like. A far darker atmosphere with grimmer characters and storylines than it had previously given us, while still still retaining the level of entertainment and still managing to encourage a few laughs. It was a bold move by the WWE in order to compete with WCW, however it worked and shaped the sports entertainment world into what we know it to be today.

The DVD reminds us of all the best parts of the early Attitude Era, such as Austin vs McMahon, The MInistry of Darkness, the rising of characters like Kane, Mankind and the Rock and the arrival of guys like Chris Jericho and the Big Show. The Attitude Era was a very important time for Monday Night Raw (which, at the time was known as Raw is War) and the Best of Raw is definitely what Attitude veterans like to see.
