Gret Box-Set.
A lot of hours of TRADITIONAL Tag-Team-Wrestling from the 70s until the new century.
I think no big team is missing in this collection.
My Highlights had been:
Brit Bulldogs, Demolition, ....
And also a great presentation from Morrison/Miz. Ok, nowadays they are not together anymore, but i liked the style of them.
i was happy with this dvd, it coverd alot of the tag teams, i did think they could of put more tag teams on there from wcw as there were a few not on there.
I would tell friends that this is a dvd worth getting not omly do you get to see great tag teams it also brings back alot of good memoreys.
I would put this in my top 10 dvds.
I really enjoyed this DVD. The themes of tag team wrestling and cinematic showcase style presentation and the hosts (The Miz and John Morrison) worked really well. Some matches I enjoyed more than others and not in the sense that they were bad but instead because some matches showcased more about the team opposite the ones being highlighted. But all in all, this DVD is great value and well worth the purchase.

I'm happy that this was a 3-Disc set. It's hard to talk about great Tag Teams without rambling on and on in sort of a "oh, and we forgot to mention (name of Tag Team)" fashion. And that's what this set feels like. It's sprawling and very inclusive, but it also doesn't do a great job of highlighting the teams themselves. The matches really serve as the best way to show why the teams are on the list.
un coffret qui r?sume bien la grandeur de la section tag team de la wwe. toute les plus grandes equipes sont repr?sent?, on ne se lasse pas
The matches on the dvd are really good matches overall. There is a lot of previously unreleased material on here, but the presenting is bad and the overall presentation of the dvd is bad aswell. I would have like to have seen more matches from the 70's featuring The Blackjacks, The Wild Samoans, Mr. fuji and Prof. Tanaka , Ray Stevens and Pat Patterson, Gene and Ole Anderson and The Valiants. This dvd is good, but could have been better.

this is the most well rounded dvd's wwe have done in a while as it has no bias. one complaint is that the hosting by miz and morrison is done entirely in character which can get a bit annoying

Pros:
The Miz and Morrison are for the most part likeabe hosts...The brief intros to each team are both a blessing and a curse, while very little introduction is needed for teams like Edge and Christian or The Hardy Boyz some more information on teams like Nick Bockwinel and Ray Stevens and The Killer Bees would have been nice...The Steiners Vs Hase & Sasaki is fantastic and proof that WWE still has plenty of gems left in it's video library...Edge/Christian Vs Hardyz from KOTR 99 is a fine fast paced match..The Freebirds Vs The Von Erichs is a very good heated match..The Fantastics Vs The Midnight Express is a Very good match...The Hardyz/Dudleyz match from SS01 is a great cage match...Sting/Koloff Vs Anderson/Blanchard is another fine wrestling match...Miz/Morrison Vs HBK/Mysterio is good..The TLC match still stands as a fantastic breath taking match some 10 years later...The two NWA tag matches on Disc 3 are again excellent proving that the NWA/WCW was the place for wrestling in the 80's ...DX VS Rated RKO is a very enjoyable match
Cons:
Better matches could have been chosen for New Age Outlaws and The World's Greatest Tag Team...That the Funk and Brisco Brothers are reduced to a four minute highlight reel is upsetting(perhaps this was the only footage available?)...That MNM are reduced to a passing mention is a great disservice,i know Morrison has a new partner and Mercury is now fired but as a tag team they were one of the WWE's best in the late noughties..Likewise The Hollywood Blondes are only briefly mentioned...There are few mentions of WCW and ECW tag teams i.e. no Public Enemy,Gangstas,Eliminators,Pit Bulls,Chuck Palumbo & Sean O' Haire...The continuing Benoit Ban means the superb three way tag feud that kicked off the start of the WWE Tag Titles lifespan is ignored(much like the Edge DVD)...
Extras:
The very funny Mizfits and Mofos music video,an abridged version of Gene Okerlund visiting The Hart Foundation's headquarters(the full lenght version can be found on Wrestling's Greatest Managers, the brilliant DX on the meaning of controversy bit,the fantastically entertaining Bad Street USA music video and some worthless skits and promos are all you get
Overall: Despite some dodgy match choices there is more than enough great matches, many new to DVD to make this worth a purchase.WWE's best release in quite some time
I was unsure of this set when I first saw it up for pre order. After much consideration I decided to order anyway. Boy did I make the right decision. I watched the first disc the afternoon it arrived and I was glued to my seat. It was so interesting to see some really classic tag teams from years gone by. I especially enjoyed watching The Midnight Express. Pure brilliance. I watched the remaining 2 disc the following day which means I watched the whole set within 24 hours of having it. Thats how much I wanted to see the rest after the first disc. I totally reccomend to anyone. Miz and Morrison as hosts can get annoying but they are funny. Get it while its at Pre Order Price
I think i'll avoid this DVD, the fact it's hosted by Miz and Morrison will annoy the hell outa me. By looking at the 1st review it looks like wwe went and ruined all the attitude footage and really 3 discs just doesn't cut it for a documentary on tag teams. They should re-release this with different hosts and give all the tag teams an equal coverage -- they could also make this into a collection by bringing out volumes 2, 3 and 4 or something and have each volume covering tag teams from a certain period of wrestling (i.e old school, attitude, current and others)(another thing, if we showed this idea to wwe they'd probably do it for the money...) because it looks like this dvd is missing some good teams that I wish were on here so sorry people. They're gonna have to take this idea back to the drawing board to create a dvd that's worthy of mine and probably several others with similar complaints purchase.

A good collection of tag teams are covered on this compilation. Most of the footage will not have been seen by many since that time. Sadly some tag teams are only briefly covered i.e Mega Powers and Brothers of Destruction without a match on this collection and only a brief viewing instead. Another annoying thing is the blatant editing of entrance themes on some matches as well as the all too familiar blur on the old wwe logo from the attitude era which obscures some of the action. A particular annoying feature for me is the Rock 'N' Sock Connection vs New Age Outlaws match. Not only is parts of their catchphrase muted but some of JR's commentary is as well (the reference to too cool). WWE owns the rights to their old footage then why do they insist on slapping the WWE logo over the old one or blurring it out so badly that you can still see it? Overall this is one of the beter dvd compilations to own despite the usual problems with attitude era footage. Enjoyable to see classic tag teams and superstars that have gone their separate ways now developing their skills back then.
